Raley went 125 and looks to have regained his form,he looks big for 125...2 quick pins...Stevenson out from IC with injury so no Duckworth matchup..Phillips has looked impressive...Reitz looks the strongest team wise

Any upset predictions or sleepers?
-
By the looks of your picks, one might guess you went to the Jeff classic; perhaps your school is South Dearborn. Just a guess though.
my picks
103
Cody Phillps Union County
I don't think I need to explain this one
112.
Bryan Kuhn Retiz
He beat Todd and Harvey last year and he is the sr and will be hungery to finally win the classic
119
Josh Kieffer Roncalli
was the man to beat last year and will be the man to beat this year
125.
Justin Kieffer Roncalli
I don't think he'll have a match
130.
Tyler Clark South Dearborn
Looked really good last week at jeff
135.
Brock Norton Ft. Carroll
I don't know of anyone else that could beat him
140.
Rogers Union County
I think he should be ranked he looked good at the end of the year last year
145.
Gessel Union County or Maple Connersville
I hear they both look good this year I haven't seen either wrestle so I dunno who's better
152
Nick Manning South Dearborn
He's been a beat all year
160.
Tyler Willis Catherdal
He's too strong for the others in this weight class
171.
1. Michael Duckworth Union County
He won't have a match at this weight class
189.
Aaron Stevenson Indian Creek
Runs through the competition
215.
Ron Forman South Dearborn
Looked good at jeff classic and maybe be a state qualifer if he didn't have a bad macth at semi-state
285.
Jackson Milan unless he falls onto his back was beating the Semi-state champ last year until he fell to his back as long as he don't beat himself there aren't many heavys that can beat him

Does anyone know the schedule yet? What time does it start?
-
Has Raley and Schofield wrestled before? If so, do you know if they were close or not? I cannot remember Schofield from last year.
-
Any good individual match-ups?
-
Good match but I don't think it was overtime though. Keiffer overpowered him last year so it will depend on what he did in the off-season. Has Raley wrestled this year as I seen he did not wrestle at Castle. Rumor was that he was sick.
-
Will there be any state caliber individual matches at the Castle Invite? I know Castle and Indian Creek have very good wrestlers but not sure on the weight match-ups. What weights will Raley, Reece, and Stevenson be at?
Does any other schools have any SQ or S placers?
-
Indian Creek will be there. Does anyone know which bracket they will be in?
-
That would be a big upset if he can beat Wright. Look for the winner of Kieffer/Raley to beat Kenney. 119 is talented from top to bottom. There are 5 maybe 6 that could win it all if it is there day on Saturday. A few of these should have cut to 112 but to be the best, they say you have to beat the best.
-
Thanks. Point well taken.
-
You are correct in that it was 5 -2. Don't know about exact ride time but it doesn't really matter at this point. John's won the match 5-2 and he deserved to win the match that day. This weekend starts a new tournament so I wish all from the E-VILLE SS "Good Luck" as the 119 class is very stacked. Anyone could come out on top if they can knock Wright off.

After speaking with a few Coaches, "through the grapevine" it was stated that this was done to accomodate one team's Coaches. If this is true in any facet, then the director should be reprimanded by the IHSAA. That is the most ridiculous explanation one could present. If it is not true, please present the real reason why the match was moved.
-
Whomever was in charge of the event made a MAJOR mistake by bumping the 189 class out of order. No good explanation was ever given except Castle had 3 matches in a row and the change of time/order was to accomodate them. If this is TRUE, the person in charge should be penalized for an obvious poor decision. If it is not true, please post why the 189 class was asked to wrestle out of order with no advance warning.
-
Johns scored off of Raley's mistake in the 1st. Rode him out is correct. Stalling should have been called earlier in the 3rd. It was a good match. Raley will be back strong this weekend. He is too good not to recover.
-
Kolb was far from dominating Reese. He (Kolb) was down 6-2 when Reese made a mistake as I remember it.
-
The paper was correct. All 3 IC wrestlers battled flu last week and missed several practices. All 3 will be sharper this week.
Quincy Richey--Brown County?

Only a true PUNK would post what you did against a 15 year old. If you are real man then post your name, otherwise; you should keep your classless thoughts to yourself!!! Also, I hope your son or wrestler doesn't have to wrestle him because it sounds like a bitter parent or coach that already lost to him!!
