  1. Shelbyville High School is looking for a head coach. They are looking to fill the coaching position with a teaching position. Right now there is a Social Studies and English opening. There is some talent on the team and we had 80 kids in our elementary program last year. This is a great opportunity for someone to be a head coach and run their own program. The AD and administration are very supportive. If you are interested please apply online. Email me as well at wahall@shelbycs.k12.in.us

  2. On behalf of the Shelbyville wrestling family I would like to thank everyone who has kept Kris and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Kris is an extremely tough kid. When one of my assistant coaches and I saw him last night he joked with us about how this meant he was going to have an undefeated season this year. Our thoughts and prayers also go out to those wrestlers who themselves are fighting hard to overcome some tough medical challenges. As wrestlers we are a tough breed and I believe that we can overcome anything that is put in front of us. Our thoughts and prayers are especially with the Kieffer and Estes families.

  3. The wrestler that was hurt was Shelbyville's jv heavyweight. He is doing well. He has a pinched nerve in his lower back. Pretty sore but up and walking around. We appreciate all of the well wishes and the concern. Great day of wrestling!!

  4. This is truly a great loss to the wrestling community. Zach was one one tough wrestler, but also one of the politest kids you'll ever meet. The Shelbyville wrestling community sends its condolences and prayers to his family, coaches, and teammates.
