I could not agree more that this is an awful situation. The main problem, in my opinion, is the RUDE, hostile AD. @ Northview. Every year I hear so many complaints about him, yet nothing ever happens. Every year this same topic comes up. What CAN be done?

I forgot all about Pingleton from Northview.... I am not sure if he is at 130 or maybe 135?

The referee gave a point for unsportaman like - but said he "didn't see" the incident. You don't have to witness THE bite in a match, yet if you can see the teeth imprints the referee can disqualify !! It was obvious from the wound what had occured.

Before everyone jumps the gun, let me make a few things clear. A) I am not talking about my kid I know that wrestling is a tough sport. Things get rough.
Now, my question is related to an incident that happened at a dual meet recently. A notable wrestler, who clearly would have won this match, fish-hooked his opponent (no, it was not an accident)- causing a large crescent shaped cut inside the mouth, that took the wrestler out of the room and off the mat for this weekend. People have told me that they have seen this wrestler do this on other occasions. I know this kid, I have always liked him.... but I don't stomach a cheat. In your opinion, should the coaches of the injured wrestler push for some sort of sanction against the guy??

Here are a few off the top of my head: ( I really can't remember all the schools that feed into this sectional... this is just to get the conversations started!)
Miracle @ 112 ?
Mest @ 119 ?
Spicer @ 145 or 152
Sparks or Terrell@ 160 ?
Goldman @ 171
Arthur @ Hwt.

Hey Lynx 8- instead of Reese being @ #7, it should be Spicer from Edgewood. Actually, he should probably be ranked higher than that, IMO.

If you didn't personally witness/hear it yourself, I don't think you should accuse such a positive role model for Indiana wrestlers as the IU Wrestling coach (and/or his wife) >
