Much love and respect to these Heros.  We would not be able to enjoy our freedoms without thier service.  My prayers go out to all the families who have lost a loved one in service of our country. I would like to wish Jake good luck this weekend!!  Watching his reaction after winning his first match this weekend at New Castle was refreshing.  I hope the lady he hugged (tackled) is alright!!!  Without knowing anything about this young man he seems to be what this tournament is all about. An underdog that, although down, continues to compete. His energy and excitment was fun to watch from the stands. I hope he and his family enjoy this week and this weekend. Congrats to Jake and the Rockville team. Good Luck to everyone this weekend. I pray for the safety of all involved and hope all compete to thier best ability!!!!!

New Pal- 40  Martinsville-33

If it is "north vs. south" (region vs. Indy and south of Indy) -Indy.  Region vs. Indy and surrounding counties- Region.  Would be a great tournament anyway. I bet there are some charities that would put good use a cut of the gate!!!!  B-ball does it. Lets do it at two locations north and south. Raise some $$, have fun and include the younger wrestlers.  Forget it...IHSAA would kill it. It is not b-ball!!!! :'(  Oh well.

140-  do not know scores but I believe it went,  1st Rushville, 2nd Yorktown, 3rd Greenfield, 4th New Pal.  Congrats to all the winners today!!!!

As for the 140 wieght class, how could a #1 seed over a #3 seed be an upset???  The #1 seed Yorktown wrestler is seeded over a two time state quaifier and a one time state qualifier so he must be the favorite.  Either that or the seedings must be "homespun".  Especially if someone thinks #1 winning over #3 is an "upset".  The "upset" in this class would be if #3  New Pal(one time state qualifier) would win over #2 Rushville(two time state qualifier).  ???
