  1. purdue had a decent showing with a few seconds and placers for the day.  Atwood looked real good through out the day placing 4th.  Young Kissel is real good as a freshman and Fields is tough as nails.  Churchard beating previous ranked Valenti is a good win and placing second .

i saw McMurray and he was sucked down,  maybe a little much for the cut to 149, not sure what the coaches are thinking here.  it was said he was at 167-168 on Monday and the coaches told him to get to 149 to see how he looked.

  2. i am only speaking about the match against the pirates.  it seemed as though the cp staff actually was wrestling,  ugh coaching on the entire mat during the dual..  this should be stopped directly and warned.  it was not.  I think they won the battle at rattling and getting the stripes completely out of sorts.

  3. excellent point Tom

I do not ever remember a coach and or a coach being able to walk and run the entire width of a mat and coach his kid during the battle.  I always  thought it is to be taped off or lined off.  The crown pt staff was on both west and north sides  of the mat and ranting up and down the mat, and sometimes nearly in the wide circle.  Hence officials take control and warn them.

Questionable calls thru out.  Yet all in all some great wrestling.

  4. 125 will be very interesting.  They have a redshirt fresh from Pennsyl.  He is one tough nut.  I have personally seen him wrestle at some opens this year and he has creds.  He was on the same team as all star Jordan Oliver in high school.  Oliver  is wrestling for Oklahoma
