     My post about Welch possibly being overrated was taken out of contex.   He probably does seserve to be rted #1, but

     my reply was to the person that said that none of the contenders are Welch solid.  He is not a lock.  I would

     say that the surest lock is probably Boston from LN at 103 lbs and possibly Tsirtsis at 140.

to answer your question can anybody stop jason.....its real easy for me to say absolutly no one can stop him.....well mabey if justin and josh kieffer could go tag team against him i may give the twins the nod but they may also need the welch twins to help out in the 3rd period....

This kid is a beast.  Any parent could only hope to have a kid with as much drive as Jason.  I've heard he doesn't just work hard at his craft, he strives to be first at everything inside and outside of the wrestling room.  8)

Kick some butt and bring Portage another individual state title. Put this discussion behind you and focus on winning.  Do, however, show some class as you pound your competition. I hope to see something unique when you win the final.  This CP fan will be cheering you on at Conseco.  Make us proud.

8)    I just wanted to give a HUGE ... THANK YOU ... for keeping us up to date.  If I were a rich man, I would buy you all a snow cone at CONSECO.  8)

I think that maybe I should have said SS?  I always include Mishawaka because of the Individual semi - state.  Things get a little confusing there.

After reading results and watching matches around the great state of Indiana this year, I think the Region (Northwest) has the best shot for another team title.  Mishawaka and Merrilville have pretty deep rosters, which we all know it takes to win a team title.  Although CP has some great wrestlers, it doesn't appear they have the depth to repeat this year.

I haven't had the chance to catch Yorktown this year, so I can't be certain.  It just seems that there are some really good programs in the region.  Coach Maldanado keeps putting up a strong squad year after year.... gotta have a great feeder program.

Well.  Does Crown Point still have enough in the line up to repeat?  If I remember right, they don't have anything left on their top end of the line up (160 and up).
