Evansville North has the largest gym in Southern Indiana, its time to move the regional. Castle gets SIAC, a Sectional, and Regionals, thats alot of income for that program.

They lost out the last go around on one hell of a coach, in Shawn Charles. Who has blown up Arizona States program. But I think Hinkel should get the job now.

??? why does the ISWA use a high school gym for the state tournaments? i beleive its not fair to the other programs that are not chosen to host the tournaments, the schools that do generate alot of money for there program. alot of money. it needs to be at a site like the fair grounds, or maybe even lucas oil stadium.

Hey Dusty< just to let you know, it flies by faster than you think. enjoy every moment like its the last. the next thing you know he will be off to college and you are waiting to go watch him wrestle at the next level. I am glad this is the 160 match up, welch has had his # but I have simms, one of the most decorated wrestlers in this tournament. Everyone loves to knock this kids name around, now watch him shine. GO HARD johnboy. ;D

1st. off, congrats to timmy dunkel, way to get it done. a few years ago the same thing happened to dylan hall. dylan made the podium at state. it just shows you that the meat grinder keeps alot of good wrestlers from making it to state. the ones that get a second chance take full advantage of it, and dunkel did. timmy put alot of extra time in during the off season at Big Bully, and camps. hard work does pay off, and leaving it all on the mat, will make sure you did it for a reason. support timmy dunkel at state, instead of dogging the kid out on this forum. support all of our regions kids, and watch the blue ribbons come home.2ndly, come together everyone and support our great sport, instead of tearing it down, and the kids that make it what it is today.

??? I can't beleive some of the post on here. Just shredding some young men to peices, making fun of their injuries, or style of wrestling. They are still the kids that work their butt's off (some since they were in the first grade), and the kids that are the future of this great sport. Respect the sport and these young men, or don't post trash on here about them. Win or lose, they all just went through a meat grinder, and congrats to all that are moving on to Semi-State.

(Give them direction, and our future leaders willbe better Men then we were.)

griesemer will have a better chance at 130 against brown who wasn't that impressive at all, and hoehn who he needs to redeem a earlier loss. than facing henderson, moody, oakley, johnson?. plus timmy from gibson southern will be a contender also. thats just my 2 cents. good luck at which ever weight you choose young man. you will make it to the dance. 8)

Evansville North Has a pretty tough schedule, in a 2 week period they faced, Mt. Vernon (posey) 2A receiving votes., Castle 3A 8th, overall 10th, Gibson Southern ( should be ranked) tough as nails team, Reitz 3A 7th, overall 9th, Memorial 2A 4th, overall ???, Mater Dei 2A 2nd, overall 4th. thats how tough the Southern Indiana Wrestling is.

Evansville Memorial is ranked 4th in 2A but not on the overall rankings. they are ranked higher than other teams that are 2A but the other teams are ranked higher. Whats up wit dat? Need more Southern Love.

i was told that johns lost to harrisons coaches son. a good kid he is. keep an eye on him.

Andrew is 1 heck of a wrestler, and however he finishes the season out"STATE BOUND OF COURSE" he will diffently wrestle on the next level. One of the best technical wrestlers in the state not just his weight class. Good Luck DREW. I will see u at the TURKEY.

All Bobby Cox did was allow rules to be changed,  ???Coach Ferguson you should have sent your boy home packing,  it is your responsibility as a coach to make sure your wrestlers are on weight, to say someone adjusted the scales is a cop out,  you better check or change his body fat papers because it will be called out this week. Bobby Cox if you see this, you need to do the right thing and send the Gibson Southern boy to Semi-State instead of the Reitz boy. You were missinformed to what happened. The scales were zeroed out for TARE weight. Do the right thing, or this rule is out the damn window. every weigh in will have to have someone from weights and measures there.

Gibson Southern canceled their five way for the 9th, evansville central, north, boonville, washington are all free call them.

North did lose to Mt. Vernon and Harrison,( excuse time) but they were without Steele and 2 others that did not make weight. So after sitting the boys out that did not make weight and bumping some around along with filling in with jv North did lose. But with the line up right, at Castle. North turned it up against all in their pool. And tried hard against Castle with a couple of more injuries, but Castle is THAT DAMN GOOD. North 55 Harrison 18. we will just wait and see how the SIAC plays out. BUT CASTLE IS 4 REAL no doubt about it.

Its a just wait and see kinda thing. North also beat Memorials JV by 50 + points, I can't wait till the turkey starts oh what fun. Good Luck to everyone this year and I hope its a injury free season for all. Good Luck to REITZ football team, bring home another state title to the SOUTH.
