I would ask the Kids who have been to both. I bet they would go with the NHSCA Duals for competition and exposure. The kids that went with Elite said it was the best team trip they had been on. It was by far the premier dual of the year.
-
It is a shame they wouldn't have wrestled the semis or finals if they won.
These young men first off are student athletes first. The team chose to leave by a unanimous decision. 7 of them had Finals, we left right after our 9th match and arrived home this morning at 4am. After our loss the best we could have placed was 5th, and we probably could have. The tournament ran way behind schedule. Congratulations to Indiana Elite team members and all involved.

I don't know about I.U. but Purdue I do know, and I am impressed with what they accomplished this year. I think they are making adjustments each year to get better. As for not developing the local talent, they are there for you its up to the kid to want the help. I think its a shame that there aren't many of the local kids taking advantage of the program. My son wrestled with Boiler Elite and they were there to help him in anyway they could.

I'm sure any school would have welcomed Brock wit h open arms. Great kid. Strong finish for a sophomore. Kids adjust weight to be part of good programs.

Probably Perry open enrollment. Lives in the HSE Fishers area.

17 dual wins on a very weak schedule, Sectional and Regional Champions from one of the weakest in the state. I'd say the system did it's job to keep out inflation.
Peru Regional
12 state qualifiers and 4 state placers
-
How about a kid that never made it to state. Brandon Preston of Logansport never made it to state, but wrestles for Trine University. Last year he won the division 3 regional, and this year moved up a weight and qualified again with a 3rd place finish over Layton Binion.
-
Brock Morgan from Apple Valley placed 3rd @145 Minnesota State championships.
-
I just think your system is flawed. You are going more off of tournament finishes and not dual teams strength. I thought that's why you were putting this event on for.
