New Castle, Connersville, Roncalli, Jay County, Jennings County, Randolph Southern, Shortridge, and New Castle JV. Harrison dropped the meet.

Joe,
Just because a coach doesn't attend the clinic doesn't mean they aren't learning new technique. With the internet, summer camps, and videos that are available coaches have tons of resources available at the click of a button. For example, I am currently watching a series created by Jon Trenge. Great technique.

I remember Angel winning big in that match so major probably happened. Just didn't recall how Angel was put to his back. I thought if Angel was on his back this might have been the closet time against an Indiana opponent.
-
Maybe wrong but didn't Perkey throw/put to back Angel at the state finals. This match might have taken place in the Semi's.

Josh Ehr did qualify for state I believe his freshman and sophomore seasons.

MattM,
I wouldn't say that Bellmont has had "weaker" competition at the sectional or regional level. The AC teams of the 90's were tough and currently solid. Other teams in that sectional had plenty of quality individuals and teams and the teams from Yorktown over the last decade plus have been pretty good. That regional had 4 teams represented at the team state this season and could have had another.

Eric Hemmelgarn 205 to 270

Wrestlers must be within 5/6 lbs of scratch and the event is only for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders.

The IHSAA views wrestling as an individual sport. I do agree with many of the points you address in your random thoughts. I don't agree with your view of coaches who don't approve of the team aspect or who don't share your views of the team tournament.
-
He does have a brother that will be a 9th grader next year around 106 lbs. He also has a brother in 1st grade that is already 100lbs

Fabio,
I believe that what Beast is talking about as a "move in" and what you are referring to as a "move in" are totally different.

As the coach of Eric Hemmelgarn I would like to state that I don't feel the events that caused the injury were done intentionally. Bartoszek was very sorry for what happened and even checked on Eric back in the tunnel and found me in the hallway some time after to apologize and check on Eric. He sounds like a very bright young man and wish him nothing but the best.

I agree with AJ. We complain when we don't get coverage and now we are complaining when we do. Thanks for your efforts.

AJ,
As a fan of IU athletics I hope they keep it close but don't hold your breath. The boys in WL look good this season.

Jay County 8:30 - 3:30, we ran 3 mats with a 30 minute break for lunch.
-
Joe,
Please do not change your picture then. The little one is far more adorable.
-
decbell1, do you mean Hinshaw over Reed?
-
Jay County ran 3 mats and was finished by 415

Swimming takes the sectional champ from each sectional and anyone who meets state cutoff times. I do not know exactly it works out for tennis and golf.
-
I wonder if he lost to Handley of Northeastern.
-
Panda,
That post about Kyle and Eric was made in December. Eric lost that match the first weekend in January. Garringer is still undefeated at 35-0.

The wrestler can wrestle 145 or 152 but once the wrestler is seeded they must wrestle the class entered.

Our Tournament directors for the ECIC use www.thewrestlingtourney.com. It is similar to track wrestling as it keeps brackets updated and team scores updated. Easy to use and if Connersville is using computers this takes no more time to use. Just a suggestion.
