  1. Sorry I can't post much right now guys due to business but I will answer as much as I "can" when I get a bit if down time whenever that may be...!
  2. Any of you guys know where I can find the full matches online with Iranian (Hadi Amel) commentary?
  3. 3 finalists are in much better spirits than last year. Should be a good performance by all 3
  4. Not been on here in a while. Just wanted to say it is madness here in Belgrade. Let's see if Iran can pull off the triple gold!
  5. Kamran will not wrestle at the Worlds. He is injured. Azarpira will replace him
  6. Unexpectedly they done at 70 what they done yesterday at 57. Yazdani wins. Kind of understand why at 57. Not too sure why they done it here.
  7. Think everything I just said about Yazdani just happened there, you never know with him, excellent technique, dynamism, big actions, and then lack of discipline and outbursts on the mat. If he had a bit more discipline and composure he would have teched him, irrespective of the refs.
  8. Nokhodi is such a good wrestler. And with jb out the picture surely favourite for his first world title this year. World team looks to be pretty unchanged from last year. Apart from 57 and 97. I think 65 and 92 is still not confirmed but likely will be the same two as before. Team is solid. I would have liked to have seen Azapira there at 97. I guess if Kamran can't make it he will be there.
  9. Good chance based on what we have just seen but you never know.... The thing with him is that he does have excellent technique, dynamism, is athletic and likes to do big attacking actions. His discipline is his biggest issue which causes him to sometimes come in underprepared from a conditioning aspect and he can have outbursts during a match. I'll be having words with him
  10. Lucky boy. He was gassing 2 minutes in. Needs to get be sorting his conditioning out rapid. Can't be performing like that in Serbia.
  11. Yup as kkiane says he lost the takhti final to Goleij in the last seconds. Otherwise he would have been the 97 rep
  12. No Kamran is staying at 92 and moving up for the Olympics. 92 is not a difficult cut for Azarpira so in the event that Kamran is injured for Serbia they will likely send Azarpira or make him wrestle Azimi for the spot at 92. So Azarpira has put himself in a good position to wrestle a world championship if Kamran is injured.
  13. He is. (Nick lee). To be honest, 57kg for Iran is from a world perspective pretty weak, but Valizadeh has some good potential, so that's that. Did the matches between Rahman at 65 and Kamran/Azimi at 92 happen already domestically? Also if Kamran won't be fit, will Azarpira wrestle Azimi now for the spot? In terms of for 70 and 79 I have no idea what's gonna happen. Anything is possible! I do believe it is likely though now 90% of the National team for Serbia will be from Mazandaran which is mad. Only Emami is not.
  14. Yup. Pejman asked if they can do it with UWW referees in this setting to determine the rep. Valizadeh gets a last second takedown and wins 3-3 on criteria. He goes to Serbia. Elated. Ahmad javan devastated. How mental.
  15. ......very frustrating......azapira would have been Gold here and we all know it.
  16. Managed to watch this. I agree, given his youth and inexperience he showed a lot of promise against a very good and tough competitor. I guess Ahmad javan is the rep for Serbia then?
  17. Also Yasin Rezaei is listed as an entry at 57kg for Budapest ranking series. Not sure if that is a mistake...
  18. I've not been keeping up to date with the greco side of things. What is the likely team that is getting sent to Serbia?
  19. Yeah, expected such a thing for the selection process but I'm surprised with the Nokhodi/Savadkouhi decision to be honest, I thought they would do this for Goleij/Azarpira instead, not sure why they would do it for Nokhodi/Savadkouhi and not Goleij/Azarpira. Also they aren't doing at 65 for the final 2 either. Seems that things are getting decided as we go along.
  20. Agreed with AM yazdani. That's why I put him in. Plus 70 shouldn't have anyone who is unbeatable. Emami is making great progress, but I still think it would be massive upset if he manages to get through all the others at 74 to get gold. Not impossible, just would be an upset imo. The others I listed some may be underdogs but it wouldn't shock me if they get gold. It would pleasantly surprise me however if Emami can. Either way Iran has one of the strongest teams they ever have had and should be getting 7 to 8 medals imo at least.
  21. Nope there won't be a team. So team will be between USA and Iran. And both countries have arguably the best teams they have ever had. USA line up likely to be Gilman/Richards Vito/Garrett Yianni/Lee Dake Jb Taylor Zahid/Mike mach Snyder/Cox Gable There are gonna be some huge battles
  22. It will be just like a world team. One in each. I expect to see most of the Dagestanis, Sadulaev, Sidakov, Uguev etc.
