big geraei survived a bit of a scare...

that was an incredibly interesting match with good wrestling on both sides until azapira has a total mental break and comes up from grounded... i would have much rather seen him defend snyder's mad rush in the last minute... still a way more positives than negatives that can be taken away from that match...

i had no real context for azarpira... just watched his semis... my first thought is he might be a little slight for this weight... but... i love the way he wrestles... good luck to your guy today...

i can't imagine anyone not agreeing with this... still... it is rare a free wrestler still brings me joy to watch... i did watch the 86kg bronze medal matches and mostly all i felt was bored and slightly offended...

just wanted to pop in and say what a true pleasure it is to watch yazdani... even the kid came up to watch and he does not watch any leg grabbing by choice...

zahid is not a punk by any stretch of the imagination... but, the pointy end is extremely pointy... and that is the reality... the best of the rest 5 years after or before could be the best... another reason why this so important... one day as a lion...

ha... yes the americans do rate zahid... this american does not think much of him one way or the other, but, i feel that way about most free wrestlers... and yes, i fully understand that is all on me...

i find it very hard to see where zahid will have anything at all for yazdani... i would not mind being wrong, but, i just dont see it... to be fair, it is slightly interesting and i might actually watch a free match if they meet up...

count me in as part of the 7kg is too big a jump in such a short time club... my 60kg kid will be closer to right sized for 60kg this season... my other kid (55kg last summer) knows he needs to try and get to 67kg in a year if he wants any part of trials for 24... these are not easy/fun/whatever decisions, but, the sooner the decision is made the better in my mind...

i totally get it... but being there live and seeing him, i am not counting him out... more importantly, otto isn't counting him out either... and for sure trust that kid's opinion over mine any day... regardless of the outcome, it is just cool and i celebrate it 100%...

FYI… oldest back from college… picked them both up to hit the gym and do some training… watched them for 1-1/2 hours work on hitting mohammadi’s outside foot trap to off balance from every position they could think of… they are going to do the same thing every day for the next month between holiday and camps before he leaves… One love…

so... the boys and i were talking last night... mohammadi is our favorite greco guy right now across all age groups... all 3 of us are in agreement... i cant see him at 67 for '24... is there talk of him going 60kg?
