Micic and Serbia steal a gold medal… on top of not weighing in, a blatant fleeing the mat gets overturned that would have won the match for higuchi… This as bad as anything I have personally witnessed in wrestling… These types of shenanigans is what got wrestling almost removed from the Olympics… I am physically angry…

i was still obsessing over 12 year olds at that time... didn't pay near as much attention to senior wrestling as i do now...

i will be pulling hard for my absolute favorite wrestler... mohhamadi makes me tingle watching him wrestle...

a buddy just brought up a good point... if dake handles his business in a few, russia leaves with no gold medals in free... when is the last time that has happened?

i was questioning my decision to keep waking up at 2AM to watch leg grabbing, but, this morning has proven that even leg grabbing is better than just about anything else...

you do not have to believe it... but it is not hard to see the stark difference between his appearance and performance yesterday to tokyo or his college days when he struggled to make weight and perform 3-1/2 kgs higher...

i do not have any good answers for any of those questions... i just can not imagine that there will not be some kind of backlash over it... when i saw Micic on the mat yesterday i was literally shocked... it was blatant to me...

last year at worlds in serbia there were many greco competitors grumbling that the Serbians in the finals did not weigh in second day... they all looked big... then yesterday seeing Micic look like an absolute monster at 57... not looking sucked down at all... big and healthy... it was a bit shocking to me... you go look at him in tokyo at 57 or when he was making 133lbs in college and he looked way healthier and bigger yesterday... the way he wore down Uguev and Abakarov was telling... he absolutely dwarfed everyone... clearly it is conjecture on my part, but, Micic damn sure did not pass the eye test at all... and the way he celebrated after "beating" two of the absolute best felt greasy and shameful to me...

Thought I would jump on and give you guys a congrats on Zare… one of the most dominant performances I’ve seen in a while… also… as much as I hate to say it, the Yazdani call was 100% correct… Taylor is the smarmiest wrestler in America, but, I have to respect his wrestling even though I much prefer Yazdani… on a totally unrelated note… dies anyone think for a second Micic weighed in? he was comically huge in that bracket and to celebrate like he did after beating Uguev and Abakarov while clearly not having sucked down to a legitimate 57kg was embarrassing to me… they grumbled last year after tye Greco guys didn’t weigh in and now this… Just shameful…

many thanks... it was a good win and legitimate... but... i wish grasso had realized what he was wrestling before the match... it was clear he thought it was just another american kid trying out greco and he totally underestimated him... the truth is i am not sure it would have mattered anyway, but, i have to recognize all the angles...

it means nothing if he is not on the U20 world team bringing home medals in 6 months... but... it is a step in the right direction...

Mammadov is an old lion… he saw his chance and took it in that deep body lock… fair play to him… clearly, I Mohammadi carried the entire match except for a 1 second exchange, but, he is still so young he will learn… he may want to start looking into some par terre… regardless, the kid is still the truth…
