About Me
I wrestled Varsity for 3 years at Shenandoah High School and finished my high school career with a record of 113-11.
1996/97: 26-7
1997/98: 42-1
1998/99: 45-3
I also wrestled at MacMurray College for 3 years (1999/00, 2000/01 & 2003/04) & had over 75 Career wins. After sitting out the 2001/02 & 2002/03 Seasons, I returned for my final year of competition in 2003/04. I came back in 2003/04 to wrestle for our 1st year coach, Jerry Kelly. During the 2003/04 Season, I won the Most Falls In Least Amount of Time Award at our Conference Tournament at Olivet College (MI) & at the NCAA Midwest Wrestling Regional @ Manchester College. I was also selected as the Most Valuable Wrestler at MacMurray in 2004.
After graduating from MacMurray in 2004, I decided to return as a Volunteer Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2005/06 & 2006/07 Seasons. During this time, I was blessed with the opportunity to work with one of the best coaches I've ever met, Jerry Kelly. Coach Kelly was an NCAA Division 1 National Runner-up in 1978 and had a huge impact on me as a Wrestler, as a Coach & as a person.
