Congratulations to Luke Penola for winning the mental attitude award at the state finals. Luke didn’t reach his goal of winning a state title but he walked out of the arena with his head held high. He is one of the best leaders, wrestlers, and people we’ve ever been around. We are forever grateful to of coached you and to have you in our Zionsville wrestling family.

May 12th Zionsville is hosting a Friday night live practice. Wrestlers must have a USA Wrestling Card. Practice time: 6:00-7:15pm Cost: $0 Enter door 3 on the south side of the high school. The wrestling room is on the right above the weight room.

No RTC practice tonight or next Wednesday. We will resume RTC practices on June 1st.

The Zionsville coaching staff will run the RTC practice May 11th from 6-7:30pm. We'll use the practice as a good tune up for freestyle state!

The head coach of West Liberty University, Danny Irwin. Irwin was honored as the Mountain East Conference All-Sports Coach of the Year, the NCAA Division II Super Region 3 Wrestling Coach of the Year and was a finalist for the 2021 NCAA Division II Wrestling Coach of the Year after leading his WLU wrestling team to a season of “firsts.”

Our technician this week will be Eric Douglas. Eric was a 2x state runner up, NCAA All-America for Purdue, Assistant Coach at Purdue University, Assistant Coach at West Point, & Assistant coach at Lawrence North High School. We are extremely fortunate to have Eric coming in to run a workout! He's one of the best technicians I've ever learned from. Don't miss this awesome opportunity!

Friday Night Live at Zionsville is tomorrow from 6-7pm. Come hang out in the Nest! We've had tons of hammers in the room the last two months. Gonna be a good time!

Our technician Wednesday, April 13th from 6:00-7:30pm will be Alex Johns. Alex was a 2 time DII All American for UINDY, and is currently the head wrestling coach at Avon High School.

RTC Wednesday will feature @wabashwrestling Assistant Coach Daniel Del Gallo. Coach Del Gallo helped lead Wabash to a runner-up finish at D3s this year, was a D3 NCAA Champ in 2017, 2x NCAA Elite 90 Award Winner (highest GPA at nationals)!

Zionsville Community High School will host an RTC Wednesday’s from 6:00-7:30pm. Enter through door 27 (backside of the school). The wrestling room is right above the weight room.
