  1. I am a friend of Trevor's grandpa, he is a fine young man.  Have enjoyed watching him wrestle for years.  He is surraounded by a great family and his friends. He hit a patch of water on a wet rainy road, lost control and hit a tree head on,Ii dont believe anything aggressive was going on. He has a broken rib and broken back.  Last I know should recover eventully. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

  2. Whether it was the best thing to do, I personally think it stinks, but on the other hand, no one knows what went on behind the scenes. They didn't 'break any rules' so, whatever. Moving on, what a great day at Franklin county sectionals!  Of course to boasts about my favs at Milan, they re taking a handful to Regionals, wish they were taking a few more, but oh well; all & all good day for them.  Some Batesville kids impressed me!  HAve not heard a lot about the Orschell kid (don't remember which school he is from) but wow, some great wrestling from him I seen.  Lots happened in that weight class I did not think I would ever see.

  3. Guess it is good for people to stick up for the teams, hope I did not offend anyone, did not no oldcoach50 was the coach, but again, did not think I bashed.  Anyways, as for Centerville, I do try & keep up with them they are a team that usually looks good, luckily I see many post about them on here so I dont have to ask.  But while I have him talking, how bout Cavins. (lol)

  4. No, oldcoach50, not from Milan, although I no some from there (some from Batesville and some from EC also)! and as for bashing, dont think I did any bashing!  and I ask alot about milan and EC because I never see their results on here much, so I ask...maybe if their coaches would keep us all posted, I wouldnt ask so much? ...... Unfortuneatly there are too many negatives on here. Just looking to see where these guys are going to fall, I get anxious to see what is going to happen at sectional&regionals.

  5. With all of your pro-Milan posts are you simply just fishing for compliments?

LOL! I just follow local schools, but yes, Milan is a favorite of mine except when it comes to the Spartan Classic, they seem to take a dive every year there, just not good enough I guess.  I also follow East Central, they seem to have a lot of improvements in their team this year, curious to see how they do. Batesville, I think will be a disappointment to me this year.

120 ??? Lonneman at 3rd, am I missing something? Has Milan even had many meets?? i would think McClurg would have no problem with him.

  7. Anyone think Cavins or Lonneman from Milan or Weustefield from Batesville will get anywhere this season? What is Lonnemans weight this year? I think he was at 120 last year? Also wondering where Weustefield will be since he had injury last year. I cant help but love watching these kids from smaller schools. Oh and Oyler as always looked good last year.
