  1. Tough loss for a very tough kid. Sinkovics handled himself with class after the match. He and his family should be proud of his efforts and sportsmanship.

The Sinkovics family is very proud of Jake. He has had a good  career, while overcoming adversity. He is a fine young man. We hope that he is able to continue wrestling in college. Beastmode thank you for the nice post.

I wish the senior class of wrestlers the best of luck, as they move on to the next stage of their lives.

    Bill Sinkovics

  2. While I do not know your boy personally, I know who he is.I have seen him wrestle multiple times over the last two seasons. I have seen him win with class, and loose with dignity.  He seems like a fine young man. He is a good wrestler in a fine program, and if I am not mistaken an underclassmen. As life would have it we sometimes loose, and it is his character that keeps him going now, that will keep him going later,  if life again decides to stack against him. Best of luck in my the future.

  3. Ferg was up 5 points and then pinned him. It was a great win. He has looked great all year and has wrestled better competition this year. Reitz has definitely lost some kids in the room over the last 3 years but there are still quality kids left.

Ferguson did not pin sinkovics.  He was up 6-0 In the second, period, then sinkovics took him down twice and when the third period ended it was my opinion that Ferguson was in danger of being turned. Also the second and third periods where only 1min long. I mean no disrespect to Ferguson he wrestled great all day and deserved the win, just stating what happened.

  4. Sorry for spelling, should be lecount.

I am not saying Cody wins, I just misspelled his name. I would rather bet on the sun not coming up than to bet against either of them. Neither of them would back down from a Grizzly Bear in a singlet.  Cody is a senior who I am sure wants to go out on top. Tommy is a junior with a chance to be a three timer, which could be big for college. I feel that whatever they decide should be respected. Again best of luck to both.
  5. Both Cody, and Tommy are outstanding wrestlers, and great young men. Both are extremely hard workers, and have earned the success they have had on the mat. Cody beat Tommy at middle school state, then at middle school duels Forte beat Lacount. Several other blue team members also avenged loses to gold team members. As the two Indiana teams wrestled each other. Forte beat Lacount at Tulsa nationals also. Both want to win state, but only one can if they are in the same weight class. I hope they both win their second state title this year. Good luck to both.

p.s. Cody I will have to root for Macri at 52, so maybe you could go 38. Lol.

  6. Ok so you wanna say that 106 isnt tough but 120 126 132 138 are good And they are but that makes no sense

Because a lot of those guys wrestled 106 when they were freshman and sophmores then they just got bigger and also 106 pounders have the best strength in percantages besides how often do you see heavier weights lift each other off the mat because at 106 it happens all the time

  7. Mishawaka penn.  Sinkovics md HIldebrand.18-7 Martslof md Curcio.9-1 Forte tf Rhinhardt.18-2.    Macri dec Mamolenti 5-3 At Belmont. Sinkovics md Glugowski.18-7 Sinkovics md Johnson.16-2 Martslof dec Broukal 2-1.    Forte dec Bova 11-4

  8.   Mishawaka High School.  Jake Sinkovics 106.  Tommy Forte 138.
