  1. With body fat and hydration in  a couple of weeks when do you think wrestlers should start Cutting weight?

If your cutting a lot of weight start cutting now to get close or on your weight so the body fat and hydration test don't control where you have to wrestle

  2. Special Thanks to DLane for the Grades!

I would just ilke to say Austin Little at heavyweight from north posey made it to semi-state last year and was tied with Suter all the way till the third period when Suter got a escape i would venture to say he will place at least second at ss if not he will beat Wright and take first.

  3. Evansville/Castle has some great talent this year. I see 2 great chances for a state champion. Kelly from Central and Welch from Castle are two contenders. There are a handful of Reitz and Mater Dei kids that could creep up and take a title this year along with Wedding from Memorial. Who is your  pick to be our hometowns next state champion?

I would agree except for the fact that there are rummors that wedding got beat this summer by a dark horse from north posey I don't know his name I have just heard it through the grape vine

  4. Konner Chafin of Jimtown (113/120) pinned Jacob Brown first round over the summer. Was varisty last year until semi-state qualifier Cody Koebel took him out right at the end of the season. Look for him to make noise in the Fort Wayne semi-state.

I have only heard the name chafin I haven't got a chance to see him wrestle, but I do know Brown is a solid wrestler he can lose his temper and give a match up every now and then but if he pinned Brown he is either a true force to watch this year or just caught him in a move.

  5. Whitley from Floyd is my candidate for a dark horse. Beating Lahue last year should show what he is capable of.

I don't know I watched Whitley at the Mater dei holiday classic last year and didn't see anything special just a good leg rider besides that on his feet he was lacking a solid takedown if he worked on his feet this summer and is as good there as he is on the mat then I agree, but only time will tell that and I also noticed he seemed to be fatigued possibly cutting to much weight? No matter he has to find the right weight class to have success

  6. My junior year I cut from 120 to 103 it was hard and most likely against ihsaa rules, but I can tell you it wasn't unhealthy for me if anything I was slightly more tired, but my endurance and overall physic was at the top if its game and because of this I believe is the reason I had success my senior year was different I cut from 132 to 112 starting that year I had a lot more muscle and it was hard to cut that weight in the beginning I tried to make it to 103 but couldn't because of ihsaa rules I would say if you going to cut weight and your serious about wrestling push your self but don't hurt your self
