  17. Cauliflower ear... short shorts, tatoos and red high heals... And we are still pretty damn good on our feet!
  18. On choosing your level of college wrestling you are both spot on! College wrestling is TOUGH at ANY level and the attrition rate is higher than any other college sport. The percentage of wrestlers that finish a 4 year wrestling career at any level is relatively low with comparison to other sports. It's tough!!! The Bottom line is for success in college wrestling and choosing your school... is going where people feel at home (on the campus and the local community) what meets their needs socially, academically, emotionally, and athletically. In that order. While we are at it... promoting small school wrestling Become a program donor for Indiana Tech wrestling... https://www.fundingforteams.com/donate/index.php?url=itwrestling @INtechWrestling #WarrioirWolfePack

  21. Legend has it in these parts? that gnarled, old, grizzly of a man, (referring to the HWT in the back row, far left) at some point in his 16 year coaching career consumed the younger, tenacious version of his 126# self from his college days. And that he is incubating in there, waiting for one of his Warrior wrestlers; who major in Bio-medical engineering to create bionic knees? then he will regurgitate this young man, releasing him back into prime coaching action where he will inflict an arsenal of top notch wrestling technique to be demonstrated on his innocent, yet all willing to take a beating, assistant coaches. And raise this team to national prominence. Follow this thread... we will be posting an inspirational pre-season video documentary featuring this Tough warrior wrestling team working to meet our theme this year. "High Expectations"

Ian Early is projected to wrestle at 197-lbs and Dezmin McGinley at 165/174-lbs. Ian Early Career Record 133-38 Senior Record 42-3; Team Captain 2012 Team Most Valuable Wrestler 2-time Hoosier Heritage Conference Champion IHSAA Sectional and Regional Champion IHSAA Semi State Runner-up 195-lbs 5th Place finish at the 2012 IHSAA State Finals ISWCA 2012 Indiana All Star team member Member of the 2011 Junior National Freestyle Team ?The reason I want to come to Indiana Tech is to study Physical Education and wrestle for the Warriors. I believe that Indiana Tech is a good fit for me academically and athletically. My goals include getting my degree in Physical Education, become an all-around better person and to bring my wrestling ability to the next level under the wrestling program at Indiana Tech. Athletically to start for the team right away and make an impact at 197-lbs. Become a champion on the regional and national level, and to be a leader on and off that mat for our program.? Dezmin McGInley 2-time (IHSAA) Sectional Champ Regional Runner up 2-time Semi State Qualifier State Qualifier ?I chose Indiana Tech to further my education and because of the teacher-student ratio (average 18/1) I feel I will be successful as a student. I plan on studying Law Enforcement and Psychology. My goal is to become a Police Officer (working undercover) and eventually work my way up to serving in the FBI. I plan on becoming the best wrestler I possibly can, and I feel the coaching staff and current team at Tech will help me accomplish my goal to become an All-American!? Indiana Tech Head Coach Mike Ester on the signing: ?These two guys are tough, hard-nosed guys that love to battle in the room and in competition. Their coach (Josh Holden) should be proud of these two products of this upcoming program. We feel that their style suits well for wrestling at this level. We are hoping they will adapt to some advanced technique and polish up their technical ability on the mat, and we expect that these two guys will bring some welcomed intensity and toughness to the Warrior wrestling program. Dez and Ian have strong high school credentials, but we feel have plenty of room to progress and we hope they make a long term impact on what is progressing to be the strength of this recruiting class (from 165-lbs up to HWT)."
