Loki27 I couldn't agree more. Ellis and Vaughn fell fortunate to the luck of the draw. It would have been better to take fourth then first last Saturday, CRAZY. I' will take McKinney as the champ come Saturday Go Warriors

Iu1999......thank you....that was funny that perry people thought they got the shaft......AT HOME
-
Warren Centrals Matt McKinney will be at 132. I think the Warriors are underestimated.
-
The Warriors of WC looked solid. I expect big things from this group
-
McKinney vs James match was a good one! 4-2 final. Can't wait for next one.
-
McKinney vs James was a great match. I believe 4-2 final, looking forward to next meeting.
-
Perry all #1's, funny! Don't sleep on the warriors. 126-McGhee 132-McKinney 138-Pruitt 145-Pruitt 152-Herrick. Maybe not all #1's but definitely #1 132-McKinney and #145-Pruitt (as long as Cash stays at 138).

Bailey from Cathedral I believe has a younger brother that's a stud 6th grader and I do recall 1 or 2 more Egli's from MD in 6/7th grade coming up. Does Warren, Perry or Franklin have any?
-
Who are some of the high school studs that have younger brothers that are future studs? We've heard about the 8th grade Lee who are some others?
-
Yes Beastmode I do. But no doubt Kenny can very well slide in there.
-
These are NM Regionals picks. However I did throw in my opinion that all four get thru. Kenny goes thru PM Regionals.
-
We all have our own opinions. These are mine. I believe Mantel will avenge that lose when it counts.
-
Yes it will. But they are evenly matched and the bright side is that all four will most likely make it to state. NM will have a clean sweep of golden tickets for 126!
1.) Mantel
2.) Chastain
3.) Moore
4.) Beldon

Tyson,
So if wrestler A makes 132 two weeks ago but the following week he goes back up to 138 where he's been at all year. Is he allowed to wrestle 132 at sectionals? Since there's really no 1.5% rule being followed I'm not really sure why there's one in place, that is if I'm following correctly. This has nothing to do w snow days and missed practices.

Triple, the first part of this is the athlete must still adhere to his original Alpha weight from start of season's fat test.
-
Per Mr. cox, the last time this was challenged, Thorton's explanation was correct. At no time can a competitor lose more then 1.5% a week from weigh in to weigh in. It's a base to keep athletes from dropping too much weight that can be detrimental to their health and well being. These are not my words but rather IHSAA's.
-
With Little D now staying at 132, it should make for a good battle between these 2. I'll take Little D due to his style.
-
Nothing to gain here. Just saw the post and responded. But you are wrong. It's 1.5% a week regardless of making scratch earlier in year. It happened to Tom Gettinger 2 years ago when he made 113 but two weeks before he wrestled 120 and had to stay at 120.
-
I guess you would have to check the weigh in sheet from Saturday.
-
JCHS,
That's actually not correct. You still have to follow the 1.5% regardless of already making scratch weight. Just ask Tom Gettinger 2 years ago
-
Zach,
I may be wrong but if Mantel weighed in at 127 the weight management 1.5% a week would not allow him to get down to 122 before sectionals. Which would keep him at 126 (128) for sectionals.
-
I thought Brownsburg looked much improved. You can definitely see the difference w the new coach
-
"I think that depends on how he does this weekend. If he goes 126 he will have Belden, Moore and Chastain in Regionals.
At 120 he would be the clear favorite to win. There is a big difference coming out of the Regions as the 1 and possibly come
out anywhere from 1-4."

I know Warren Central is off this weekend so where's the place to be?
If Bellmont is this weekend then that would be a good start. Whenever Bellmont is, what are some good individual match-ups?

I sure hope they aren't moving solely based on Tontes son starting QB at WC! I would think he would be 2 or 3 in depth at that football powerhouse school. As a former warrior, I'm excited for this venture but not sure it was a wise decision. Very curious on who now takes over for PM. My guess is Perry throws $$$ and incentives to pull Matt Shcottle (spl?) back into the coaching world. Wouldn't that be entertaining to see those two coaching against each other!!!!! FUN TIMES
