  1. If a wrestler has not made scratch weight, but makes weight with the 2 lb allowance, can that wrestler wrestle that weight class in a regular season dual or tournament?  For example, if a wrestle weighed 153.9, can he wrestle at 152 during a non-sectional meet.  Even though he has not made scratch weight at 152?

  3. I love the push out rule.  It makes you wrestle instead of backing up, aka stall, to end a match.  It awards the aggressor, which is what I try to teach my kids to be.  "Be the Hammer, not the Anvil"

  4. I would like to wrestle in meets over the summer.  That is June and July when there is not a spring sport.  Is there such a thing.  I do not want to spend hundreds of dollars on camps, I just want to wrestle.  Can anyone help me out?

  5. I support it.  Having attended a small school and coached at one, I barely knew what team state was.  It sure was not realistic for my team to make it.  This gives a chance for all schools to contend.  I mean what a way to build wrestling through our state.  If I can tell my students at pep sessions and banquets and by word of mouth that we are invited to compete for a stae chamionship, you would have to assume that would motivate a kid to come out for wrestling who might not in a different situation.  I do not see how it hurts anything.
