the way Yorktown wrestled today it didn't matter who was seeded where. They dominated from start to finish.

also, I heard lebanons van camp and smith are flipped...is that true? heard smith is 138 and van camp is 145???
that would be correct.

Here are the forfeit totals at sectional for the past three years
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0At9kk8BWi5ZUdFVpd09mUU12S2ozTW1JSmRxYUMxa2c&usp=sharing
I am curious to see if the bigger weights will keep trending downward in terms of forfeits. I would still say we need 3-5 years worth of data for it to be relevant.
I don't know where you got that but thank you for sharing it.

We have had a school contact us and let us know that they are not allowed to travel to tomorrow's tournament at Westfield High School. If anyone has an opening in their schedule or perhaps they were in a tournament that has been cancelled, and you are interested in joining the field tomorrow at Westfield HS, please contact Coach Terry O'Neill asap.

who cancelled? did you get anyone to take the spot?

Just like seeing how these kids grow over the years,
I know my son Austin Mccloskey started out at 135 as a freshman, then 152 as a sophomore, 160 as a junior, and will be at 182 as a senior. That's 6 weight class jumps over his high school career, does that seem average, above average, just wanting to get some thoughts.
When you coached my son as a 7th grader he was 245 and last year as a sophomore he was down to 182. Btw, saw Austin the other day and he looks huge. It's really obvious that he has been hitting the weights hard. Congrats to your whole family on his decision to go to Purdue.

I don't have electronic brackets, maybe somebody else does
NW has a few #1 & #2 seeds majority top 4
160 will be worth the price of admission. West Lafayette seeded #1, mccutcheon #2, & NW #3 Colin Hileman is our #1 wrestler, will be good for him to see some regions opponents. I don't know much about either WL or mccutcheon wrestler, but. I know Colin & he's determined to be the champion! Goodluck to all wrestlers, tomorrow should be an exciting day of wrestling
After watching the finals it was pretty obvious that seeding this tournament was a waste of time. Should have just went with a blind draw. Lebanon had five place 1st and two finish 2nd. How many of them were #1 or even #2 seeds? Maybe 2 or 3. Steffy was seeded 8th and walked through everybody at 182.
I think what impressed me most after yesterday was the way the 220 and 285 for West. Laff. wrestled. Those two are for real. Especially the 285

i'm really confused about something? I wanted to post something about how well run the event went today but now that I've read about the greatness of Bellmont I realize that I must be confused. There's no possible way that any group could consider hosting an event and hope for any type of success without Bellmont's attendance. I honestly thought that I saw an entire days worth of great matches and some unreal competition but it must have been smoke and mirrors. After all, how can there be any true competition without Bellmont?
Who should I contact concerning getting a refund?
