  1. To say his first two matches wont be close is a little cocky imo...  If he wins his first two matches it wont be by more than 8 points total

Definitely no disrespect to those wrestlers, at this level they're all good, just think Griffin's tough!  They will all have to prove it this weekend, it will be awesome to watch!

  2. I'm pretty sure griffin took 2nd last spring to harvey at freestyle state at 152.  he is undefeated at 145 this year and none of his 138 matches have been close.  he walked out of Merrillville with 54 points taken and 4 given.  he has proven to be a dominant wrestler and his 1st 2 matches won't be close.  Jackson will definitely have all he can handle if not more.

  3. It was absolutely amazing to see the Lafayette Jeff team, Harrison team, Central Catholic coaches and many other local wrestlers join the McCutcheon High School Wrestling team as they said their final farewell to McCutcheon's beloved coach Jerry Smith tonight.  It's a very sensitive time for that MHS.  All of the teams that showed up tonight are on the eve of a BIG wrestling day tomorrow and the way they all paused at such a critical time to pay respect to such an amazing man is inspiring.

Way to proudly represent your wrestling family/community!

  4. Lynde wrestled for Delphi went 5-0 I believe.

Memorial champions: Tony Vaughn (106), Codey Flickinger (113), Eric Blodgett (132), Ronnie Bogle (145), Nick Vaughn (152), Darren Vance (170), Chase Spears (220).

Ronnie Bogle (145) didn't go 5-0.  He was beat in round 3 by Alex Griffin.
