Seeding meeting was last night, so should see something today.

South Dearborn will not be until Thursday night, due to the EIAC tourney being rescheduled for Wednesday night.

EIAC cancelled for today.

EIAC Tournament at South Dearborn has been pushed back to 3:00 pm.

2o-3 Boilers at the intermission.

All  three former Indiana H.S. wrestlers (Eppert, Quiroga, and Nelsen) have won through 141.

Also, lookout for Mason Parris this year. A sixth grader who can compete with the big boys.

Gotta go with Nick Lee as a repeat champion this year, as a 7th grader! Either at 110 or 117, depending where he decides to go.

When parents have their child wrestle a lighter weight than they actually weigh, they are only hurting their child. Secondly, they are not modeling good behavior for their son or daughter. I think the vast majority of parents do not abuse the faxed or satelite weigh in. It does make the tournament run more smoothly when they are done the night before, at these bigger events.

Sorry if  my original post was not clear. My intent was to recognize a coach who acted very admirably. I was impressed! This is one of the many reasons I love this sport, because of the great things it teaches all involved.

Just wanted to recognize South Dearborn's assistant coach Chris Nobbe, who showed great integrity yesterday. At the Madison Cub Classic, during the Lawrenceburg/S.D. 120lb. matach, his wrestler was awarded a takedown. When the period ended he told the referee that he did not feel his wrestler had the takedown but it was the referees call. The referee then reversed his call. He set a great example for the young men participating. 

Do you have individual results?

bbulldog152, Maggard should be a senior this year. All I can confirm was that he was not on Rushville's lineup.

Cole Maggard at 106 was not in the lineup at Rushville last Saturday. When I asked,  I was informed he was a senior last year.
