  1. Dont know whether it would be called most impressive, but what about Mitch Sliga's teammate Seth Riley..Was not even ranked all year and had Massongale on his back and winning before he was stuck also winning his match for 3rd before getting stuck, anyway what a run and finishing 4th.

he had a great tourney. But can't hold a lead
  2. Yes it was a pretty brutal "slam", I was watching it and cringed as soon as hemmelgarn left the ground. It did not look intentional more just a lot of weight/momentum that was difficult to control. It sucks to see that happen on both sides. I hope Eric is okay.

  3. Yes, yes he can. He is very smooth and has a motor that doesn't quit. I would say he is one of a half dozen kids with as good a chance as anyone.

I wouldn't count rypel out if he was down 14-0 that kid is a joy to watch.
  4. getting an easy takedown cutting  mcclurg  and in on another takedown before blowing your knee out then barely able to walk so mcclurg scores an easy takedown and starts to work on his knee.... the score was 2-1 when he hurt his knee in the first 20 seconds when he was in on another shot and let go due to his knee. tatom would have dominated.

its a goid thing a match isnt inly 20 seconds long cuz then he could have dominated, but we all know that didn't happen. The reality of it is, any way you draw it up, Riley got his hand raised at the end of the match and went on to show that it wasn't a fluke that he was in the semi state finals, when he beat mccloskey. How many times have we seen a 2 point lead get easily blown. We saw it 2 years in a row in the state finals with brenden Campbell from Newcastle.
  5. After the head to head contact, he briefly lost consciousness and woke up when he was on his back. Hence the fighting on his back. He's back from the hospital. No concussion thankfully, and no spinal injury which was a concern due to the pain in his back, but he'll be good to go in a week or so. These things happen in a physical sport such as wrestling. Excited to see a rematch, as I'm sure Vinny is excited as well.

    Paul Corsaro

im glad to hear he is alright probably just got his bell rung, but you cant take anything away from keanu and it was really sweet how he flexed on the HWT after he flexed after a UTB. Good matches all the way through. hope vinny recovers quickly and is back for the perry cathedral meet.

  6. I'll go with PM 8-11 and WC 3-5. I'm putting luck of the draw into mind here esp. Since they're from the same regional it could be a big factor. if I had to give an exact number i'd say 9 for PM and 4 for WC.

Cathedral will have 4 maybe 5, 6 with good draws. HSE 3-4. In the south Jennings County 2-3

BBULLDOG152 how can you say PM will only have 8-11 if you don't know anything about the team. No offense but just a few days ago you said you don't have any idea who Winfield is.

  7. [tt][/tt]

Come on why do you start this chidish stuff. I was just stating what I know and Winfield is a stud. And please keep underestamating Dre he is working hard everyday. Nothing was said about him Cant wait we will just say that, come one sat morning and get on the mat with him thats all Im sayin:)

Jason, I was being 100% serious. I would love to see Andre on the podium. I've known him personally and I know he is a great kid. I know he has wanted to make it to conseco since he was a small guy. You were showin your love for the perry Boys, just tryna throw some back. No disrespect.

    Good luck Andre!

  8. Jared can do quite well at any weight he chooses I just don't think 138lbs, is where he will choose but only time will tell. The last I checked James & LeCount are to diffrent people and bodies. I have great respect for all these kids we're talking about, but I heard LeCount couldn't make the weight he wanted at a couple tourneys this past late spring or early summer, so don't kid yourself into thinking some of these choices will or could be decided on growth that may or may not have happened yet. The season is still months away!!! Either way Perry are heavy favorites this next season!

They might be different people but james made 112 for Fargo. If he can make it in the summer, not having practices everyday, I'm sure he can make it in the winter having atleast 5 practices a week. Maybe your right. I think it would be better with James at 113 and LeCount at 126. Only time will tell.

  9. I could see that as well but might be better with Fleenor in, and one of the middle weights out, but put Mckinley at a bad weight for him. We will jus have to wait and see, and that's also assuming James can make 113lbs all year! Still what a problem to have. Lol

That's a bad weight for McKinley? Please explain.

And if LeCount made 112 all year I'm sure James could.

  10. Who ever don't pin their self lol Maybe Suter... the only returning state qualifires are him, Maggart, Walker, Hall, and Mason. But a none state qualifer could always take it from them. Stauffer, Brown, Taylor, and Schall were all ranked before state one of them could have a better run this year. Maybe a good football player will come in and make a run. HVY has been a hard one to predict the last 2 years.

Winfield should go very far into the tournament. He beat Taylor at folkstyle state.

  11. James will go to 20 I believe to make room for Fleenor at 13, I agree Bova at 94, and Martin at 92 as long as they stay healthy.

    Predicted perry line up.
