No disrespect Mr. Ayersman, plenty of us think that Kyle is a very good wrestler.
However, Micic and Boston have had much more success than the 103 lb group from 2008-09.
Did Kyle ever win Fargo as a Cadet like Micic. or place second in a VERY tough 103 lb bracket at Flonationals like freshman Boston did.
Statistics are an interesting thing, but your stats compare in state matches, not national results.
Hopefully, these wrestlers will prove Intermat wrong at the next level.
Best of luck to all these fine young men.

Mr. Ayersman,
I'm sure if need be, you could teach Kral some of the offensive moves you've taught your son. ;D ;D

After watching both wrestle this weekend I'd have to say McKinley by 3 or 4 points.
Did they ever meet up in iswa folkstyle state?
I thought Jared pinned Ayersman or was that someone else?
Either way, regardless of the outcome, 2 great wrestlers!
Other way around. Ayersman pinned McKinley in 1:05 of the first period. But past records and head-to-head matches don't count, unless it involves
McKinley winning.
Sorry for asking the question Mr. Ayersman.
Just asking who did pin your son at Iswa folkstyle state ?
Was it Harvey from Cathedral?

The drinking water in the region is Lake Michigan water. Perhaps it has alot of steel in it. Along with everything else that is dumped into it; helps make them strong. ???

From my vantage point it didn't look like a takedown. The MD coach was within his right to question that.
Ultimately, the right decision was made.

Gotta go with Malloy.
He's CIA all the way.
Can't beat coach P!

Jason was 131-2 after team state last year. I'm sure he's wrestled more than 21 matches this year, probably closer to 30.

Tsirtsis is taking a visit to Oklahoma State this weekend.

Both are very good wrestlers. I saw the match and it was VERY close. Micic looked 10 pds lighter than Boston. Assuming they both would weigh 106 next year I would take Micic hands down!!

Funny you should mention that. He is due to make a visit today!! ; ; D

The Fila JR. semi final match btn Ramos and Tsirtsis is on youtube. Just type in " Ramos Tsirtsis". Ramos won the match and went on to win in the finals as well vs. Dardanes of U of Minn.

Ditto on Blake Jourdan. He's looking REAL tough!
