Wow those are some impressive wins for Ellis in high school.  Did not realize in the off season he beat those wrestlers.  What was the score of the Fried match?  I have heard some people say Fried he was the best high school wrestler ever.

Jason Tsirtsis beating Cashe as a Freshman after Cashe was dominating everybody for the last two plus years puts him at number 1 IMO.  Also he won Fargo as a Junior going into his senior year.  Sliga, Howe, Alex, Angel all lost at Fargo after their Junior year.  Ellis was a stud  how did he do in the off season against out of state competition?  Also Jason dominated at Dapper Dan and Dream Team. But the Cashe win puts him ahead of the others. 

Eric Douglas from Valpo was tough.  Runner up his junior and senior year.

Is he planning on going to Fargo?  I did not see his name on list of entered wrestlers.  If he is does anybody know what weight class?

Wow! I was way off, Tsirtsis dominated the second match.  He looked really good that match.  Congrats!

Tsirtsis looked a little tired at the end there.  Good match. Tsirtsis with a takedown and a turn at the beginning of the first and another takedown at end of the first.  Second period was close.  Rutherford with a takedown and pushout then Tsirtsis with a spin behind to win 8-3.  I think the next match will be closer, but hope to see Tsirtsis pull it out and win that world team spot. 

was really hoping Whitford would have won.  Zain Rutherford is so tough and has great D, I think Tsirtsis and Rurhterod will be low scoring match.  Whitford and Tsirtsis would have been have been fun to watch.  Looked like Whitford was tired at the end.

Been looking forward to this match for a long time.  They could meet tomorrow if Whitford wins the challenge tournament.  Whitford won 60Kg but is going 66kG tomorrow.  Hope it happens.

I saw they are both signed up this weekend for the last chance Olympic trial qualifier. Both at 66k.  Pretty cool Alex entered.  Jordan Humphrey at 66 and Brandon wright at 60 as well. Good luck to all Indiana wrestlers.

Just looked on Trackwrestling and saw Dustin Schrug beat Isaiah Bradley 7-6.  Any other big upsets in the Junior division.  That was a first round matchup

is it me or do most indiana wrestlers look very gassed?

I thought McKinley and Jackson were gassed, Harvey looks tired as well.  

Here is the video of him going for his 4th state title.  He would have been the second guy to win 4 state titles in California.  Cisneros beat Jackson in the finals at Super 32 in October.

I realize he got a little tired at the end against Shrug but I think he is going to win 3 championships.  Very tough.  Will be interesting to see what the weights are next year.

Like Robinson and Kral both and don't care who won, but thought it was the right call.

Congrats! He went through a very tough road.  Petrov may have had the hardest way to the top but Kral was tough in a wt that was up for grabs. Some said he did not deserve the number one ranking.  The Robinson match was tough but he was out of bounds and the ref got it right.  Kral pushed the pace in all his matches and deserved the championship. 

I would say Bays got a tough draw on Friday night.

I would say Cameron Colby from Kokomo got a rough draw.  Using the rankings that are up now.

Did Colby wrestle Kral at the Warsaw super duals in November?  If so what was the score.  I am assuming they did not because Colby only had one loss.  

Different style from Kral today.  Rode him hard and Robinson still has not got in a good shot on Kral.  I see this match under the lights next week.  Knura never seen him wrestle but sill think it will be Robinson vs. Kral.

Anybody have the two lineups of PM/CP or should I say the match ups if these two teams meet.  Any chance Tsirtsis could bump up to 160 and wrestle Harvey and Johnson ( I do realize this can't happen but would be interesting)

I wouldnt say that. Kral dug a double under and Robinson took him to his back A couple times it could have been back too. Robinson also scored on a front head lock off of krals shot. Robinson is only going to get better. He has former Calumet coach Sean begley working with Begs also wrestled at the citadel so a group with Josh Morgan and begs a 6'5 heavy will make anyone better

Ontherise I saw a different match.  Kral was in on single and picked robinson up and slammed him down to the mat and Robinson was tough and was able to scramble out.  10 seconds later Kral went with double unders and robinson won the battle with great hips.  This same moved happened 3 times in the match and Robinson got the takedown and did have Kral on his back, but Robinson never shot or was the aggressor he countered the entire match.  Again i don't care who wins like both wrestlers.  Just glad they wrestled that night.  That surprised me that they did.  Kral with about 30 seconds left got in on a deep single again but was so tired that Robinson flattened him out and got the go behind takedown.  Not saying Robinson won't win but I just see a different game plan by Kral.  So 7 point win margin was impressive but I could see it turned around.  

Kral has been better on the mat in the previous meetings but once Robinson won the 3 battle of over and under Kral looked broken to me.  I think these two may wrestle two more times this year.

Kral and Reagan should be a good ticket match.  Kral will need a new game plan like the one he had at DAC meet to beat Robinson.  Robinson is too strong to go upper body on.  I will say one thing I have not seen Robinson take a legit shot on Kral in the 3 matches.  I think Robinson got a lot of confidence in that last match.  Hope they meet this week and under the lights.  The last match was fun to watch.
