There is a kid from the Region I think his name is Tsirtsis I believe he had a brother that use to wrestle I heard he might possibly be a contender next year , that's if he works real hard at it .

After watching the way Sims manhandled the 60 from CP, I really think MD is going to win this first match. Possibly going away. They are going to score 18 points at 60, 89, and HWT. It think MD is going to give up only 7 or 8 at 40 and 45, and this is going to decide the match. It's been proven that the EV SS and the CA regional were pretty tough this year, so MD would have had more state qualifiers and placers in an average year. They have some good kids who stayed in the stands this weekend.
I think MD will win this first match by at least 10. I haven't really looked at an MD/PM matchup yet.

The big matches will be between 112 and 130 , I can't believe Crown Point will give up all four matches . Crown Point was very dissapointing at these weights at the Merr. Semis . Saroff at 112 looked like the better wrestler than the Twin Lakes kid but didn't show any heart to finish it out the kid needs to step it up and finish what he started. Burlison was just out classed in his match , Harvey seems to have the bigger heart of the four wrestlers he just was out wrestled , Halsted had the toughest match up of the four but he 's not the same wrestler from his freshman year . This seems to be CPs week spot , but not to lose all 4 matches .Looks like a good match. Could go either way. I'd say that whoever scores an upset will take it. Here is how I think it will go.

If the ?refs would have treated Fuqua the same way they did Weinzapfel there wouldn't have been any stalls called against Fuqua . The ?refs did everything for Weinzapfel next to burping him , how many stalls would he have gotten if he was wearing other colors than MD ?
