  1. I wish I could have made it to the mishawaka sectionals last week then would have a better feel for the match ups...we always assume thats the stronger sectional, but the plymouth sectional brings some quality kids (other than the agreed upon favorites like mikala, brooks) that may just surprise some folks - just saying...

As a team, the Vikings finished 3rd with 173 1/2 points to 1st place Northfield with 211 points and North Miami with 181 points.

The 2011-2012 Vikings set a new school record for dual wins in a season with a record of 18-11.

  5. That is correct, Tippecanoe Valley wrestles Rochester, Northfield then Southwood before switching in pool play.

On Saturday, Trent Bauters, senior, captain and 160 lb weight class wrestler on the Tippecanoe Valley Wrestling Team, notched his 100th victory at the Wabash Super Dual.  Trent's season record stands at 25-3 and he is 100-43 for his 4 year varsity career.

  6. North Miami is young as well 8 juniors 5 frosh and 1 senior. There dual record is 11-3 I believe not bad for a young team.

Tippecanoe Valley has 1 senior, 1 junior (jv wrestler) and the balance all sophomores & freshman. It was an exciting TRC Dual.

Very classy senior night presentation by the Wabash Wrestling Team and coaches for fallen teammate Williams.

  7. Congrats to the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings for winning the LaVille Super Dual.

  12. Isaac Yoder (152) wrestled Lunford (145) in a Jan dual meet and got beat 7-3.  He also lost a heartbreaker to backyard friend and foe Jake Schroeder - Rochester. (152).  Those 2 matches inspired Isaac beyond belief causing him to be on a terror ever since.

Isaac Yoder - sectional, regional and now semi-state champion - 1st ever for Tippecanoe Valley. Congratulations Isaac!

Good luck to Isaac & Laquan at State!
