Love it when a kid bumps up to wrestle the best possible match for him to push himself to get better!  That shows true heart and not someone looking to pad their record!!!

I think it's great too, but it is not always the choice of the kid.  Most coaches with with good dual meet teams will put kids where they can get the most team points over getting the best individual match-up.

If they did not give Angel Escebedo a full ride "verbally" They deffinatley are not going to give a full ride to a high school freshman that wieghs one hundred and three pounds. Maybe i could see when he is a junior because the kid is crazy good , but first has to wrestle " compitition."

It already happened.  Now we'll see over time if IU still honors that offer and if it remains as a full scholarship.

They can offer anyone they want at anytime.  They just can't sign him yet.
