From 119 to 160 it is set for some major upsets.  if the team regional was not held during the indev. state tourney give the boys time to recover and get healthy from the battles the were jest in, it has the makings for a really good semi-state one of the best in a long time.  a lot of talent  is going to be there this Saturday.  good luck to all the wrestlers still standing.

O come on.  who dinged me on this you have to agree or you wouldn't dinged me.  i don't mean kids to win it all i mean kids to place and pull off an upset like 3rd or 4th place regional finishers.  those weights are stacked with a lot of talent, you must agree.

I thought it was an awesome regional today. Little Decker from NC along with Broyles really stepped up to show what is in the near future for NC.  Rose wrestling with a broken Jaw i thought looked ok until finals then looked gassed, could be lack of practice this week, but most everyone was n the same situation. for the week of bad weather and lack of practice this week after the first round cob webs were gone looked pretty good. Manning from SD looks like a flippen stud. what can you say about Phillips and Campbell except Wow. Fletcher even held his temper today,  but he won that helps.  for the most part went like the rankings said,  good job young men.  good job.

140 will be a toss up.

I hope to see Webster and Rose again in the finals, They both should make it there they are by far the two tops in the reg. at 140.  jst my point of view.

  Decker will spank maple at 145 Rose will win at 140 easy Mullins no prob. Mofield if he keeps his head on right should win campbell and catron will also take care of it sat. 171 could make for some good wrestling other then that i agree with you.

the only time Mccoy wrestled Levi was was a tech i do believe.  not gonna be close pin in 2nd prd.  Rose wins.

I cant wait to see what is said after semi-state.  no way in HEL>>>>  is B. White winning at 140.  he will be lucky to make it out of this weekend. good wrestlers have figured him out, don't let him get the legs in and crank and he is very predictable.  he will not make it out of semi-state if he even makes it there.  Rattey and Keiffer are tuff but are they tuff enough? 140 is loaded this year alot of good wrestlers at that weight. other then Keiffer from RC. Rattey. winning it my dark horse is Rose from NC placing and handing someone an upset.  if it is an upset.  all those guys are wrestling well at that weight.  who knows.  not me or i would buy lottery tickets.

All number 1 seeds from New Castle will win.  sorry for all the other wrestlers, jest the facts.  Campbell, Catron, Rose, Decker, Mullins and Moefield are jest to seasoned and strong. everyone of those young men will have a big part in the final 16 on friday night at state.

It is a shame when the IHSAA is worried that they might only break even or loose a buck on team state.  I understand they can't loose money on this tourney but from what i have paid to watch this and by the crowed i have seen there is no flippen way they are loosing money.  as long as you are not loosing money then you are making a profit. i hate it that they are so greedy and are only wanting to make more and more.  i am sure the fees for the school and refs are well covered by the gate.and most of if not all the wrestlers are not getting paid, so how is it not making a profit for them? unless some one has their hand in the jar.

Brick dumbas. the power half is run when wrestler A is on is belly and wrestler B in on wrestler A back.  not when both wrestlers on on their back.  i would love for my elem. team to wrestle you guys if you don't even know what a power half is.

He locked his hands for a brief second with no arm in there.  i have called that alot in our room.

i would be willing to bet a coke that two of the top 10 "ranked wrestlers" at 140 don't make it out of semi-state. only taking  bets from parents of those kids at 140.  lol  at New Castle semi-state.

I like what you're thinking except i have NC at 125, and 140  if Moefield from NC don't have a dum>>>>>>>  attach at 215 i like him but who knows.  lol  i saw the fletcher match was some ? calls but what i saw from my point about half way into the 3rd prd. he lost it and was beat.  i hate it that his self controle is so bad. it was not as bad as last year but i hate it for his mom and brother who are always there for him.  in the be scheme of life it still is only wrestling.  i hope he can get it under wraps before he is in a jail, for over reacting to someone cutting him off on the road.  but 9 out of 10 he does win. but the 1 bit him, and it will again this week.  he will be lucky to see the field house.  jst my thoughts.

So where will Reilding be wrestling next year?  Hey maybe yorktown.  they like those kind of kids.  I'm not impressed when kids that change schools because they can't stay away from the law win.  sorry.  the way i feel.

Like i said White is not that strong. "over rated"  he will have to wrestle his bumb off this weekend to even make it to New Castle Semi-state.  if he gets there no way will he win it.  can get upset in sectionals and plan on winning semi-state.  i know every one has a bad or off day now and then, but that is what makes champions. coming through even on your bad days.  i bet he didn't get to sink the legs and run the weak half.  good luck this week to all the teams left in and all the wrestlers sat.
