Agreed. Griffin is good but we don't really know how good because of his lack of competition this year. We do know he did extremely good at Semi-State but that is it.
Just look at Griffins notable wins, he beat John Tatom of HSE whos is currently ranked fourth. He beat Jarred Lawson a returning SQ 9-0 and beat Hartman a returning state placer 8-2. I dont think Venezia or kelley would even give those guys good matches let alone win.

Cathedral wraps it up 61-6...setting mats up for championship match. Irish should win but HSE has the horsepower to keep it interesting
Do you have the 138 score?
-
Really? who did you wrestle wiht as many purdue AAs just curious?
Ben Wissel, Chris Fleeger and Cashe Quiroga. Any questions?

Region Rat, I know you know your wrestling, yet to say he would AA is very bold. Look how the Munster stud did as well as the other region greats. please do not diminish what those who are still representing our region with great accolades and making us proud. Achieving AA status let alone a starting position at the D1 level is absolutely a brutal task. All while maintaining grades and all the other aspects of keeping on the straight and narrow.
As someone who has wrestled with many purdue AA and also Brennan I completely agree with region rat. If Brennan could have wrestled with the purdue program for longer than he did he absolutely would have AA.

Double, is Brennan still helping out at McCutcheon?
Sure is, hes been a huge help

Brennan lost his second match due to inj. Default. He dislocated his shoulder

Bogle beat Katsaforas 4-3
Griffin beat Bogle 18-3
Katsaforas and Griffin did not wrestle

Would have liked to see a little less space between a few of the lighter middle weight.
Agreed!!

Who did Griffin wrestle in the finals and what was the score. Did he wrestle Alderman. Thanks.
Griffin wrestled Alderman in the sectional finals last week and beat him 10-3, Martin beat Alderman in the semis yesterday and wrestled Griffin in the finals and i think the score was 8-0 Griffin.
