These heavy's arent slouches though, whoever is the champion can quite possibly win

The situation at heavy this year is kind of like the one at 215 last year. Last year all 4 215s out of the mish sectionals were ranked so there wasnt alot of hope for the plymouth 215s. this year the top three heavys at plymouth are ranked in the top ten and the 4 seed is 30-4. it will be a tough rode for the underclassman dominated heavys at the rochester regional.

Plymoth Heavyweight. 3 top ten ranked wrestlers and the combined record of the top 4 seeds is 120-9

Here are changes & input I would make in my predictions.

 

103 - Toss up! Fozo (Mish) - Davis (Penn) have not faced each other yet this season. This will be a great match that could go either way.

 

112 - For places 2 & 3 a toss up between Martsolf (Mish) - Hildebrandt (Penn) who have not faced each other yet this season.

 

125 - Binion (Mish) - Chapple (Penn) will be an exciting match for 1 & 2. Chapple (Penn) has pinned Ullery (SB Riley) 2 times this season. The match between Ullery (SB Riley) Johnson (SB Clay) will also be very competitive for spots 3 and 4.

 

285 - Maggart (Penn) pinned Carr (SB Clay) at NIC.

three top ten heavyweights at the NSC this weekend

My question is why didnt the kid being slammed lock his arms around the other kids body when he went to throw him forward. He would hav saved himself from getting slammed.

I heard Damon Howe was dropping to 215.... lol just what I heard

After watching them both wrestle i believe phillips would beat boston.

Carr was not tied 1-1 with me at rochester.  I was up 3-0 in the third and rode him out and turned him at the end. final was 6-0. he does hav a lot of potential though and was a tough match

I know of one school that teaches this "move".  some of my teammates from last year would even do it.  I dont agree with this technique but if it is a close match some guys will do whatever it takes to win.

I think you should let bremen back in next year

Next thursday at rochester there will be three top ten ranked heavyweights.

Abe Hall is overrated lol jk. What bout Grant from Wawassee or Erba from Warsaw or Benham from plymouth getting some reconition in here lol

Why are ford and harvey ranked above hall in the heavyweight rankings when hall beat harvey twice last year and ford did not get to semi-state last year.

Haines from triton isnt to bad either

I think our heavyweight sectional is one of the if not the toughest in the state.

There are three ranked wrestlers at heavyweight so it should be competative there. Damon Howe is still top dog for heavyweight though.
