  7.

Rickman from Carroll pins Omar in the 1st period in their last meeting. Sadilek owns Rickman in practice.  My point is until you do it in season it dosen't mean much.  Tiashawn is the top dog here at 195 followed close by Salmon.

Brad Laughlin from Yorktown is going to be another tough lower weight class kid (106-120) in this semi state.

  8. I don't think you should get to excited about it yet.  Carroll will start having meetings about this topic in a couple of days.  IMO everything is in play at this point.

  9. Wayne? I have like 6-7 guys from East Noble going to State....Wayne has 2 returners who have shown this off season they are ready to compete and a few surprises..If I'm wrong I'm sure you all will tell me in February

I think the criticism of your picks comes from you putting Neely ahead of a semi state quarter finalist Langeloh, and Omar over Tiashawn Johnson and a State Qualifier Brian Salmon. Remember people always think their team or kid is better then they really are.

  10. I am the head coach at Carroll High School.  First off, I am heart broken for Spencer.  I have coached and watched him wrestle since he was in elementary school.  I also have him in class where he excels as a student.  Spencer you will not get over this but you will get through it, and in the end you will become a man of character for it.  I was not at the mat when this happened, as I was coaching one of Spencer's teammates.  So it was hard for me to argue the call of a back bow.  There is no question in my mind after watching the tape it is clearly not a back bow, and should have been called potentially dangerous.  It is not my intension to question the honor or character of the Adam Central program in public, but if this were my wrestler or even son he would have finished the match regardless of what the trainer said.  Second, as far a this silly notion of a special meeting about Carroll wrestling and back bows, give me a break.  I, my coaches or wrestler don't practice, teach, or drill back bows.  I am a man of high character and the suggestion that we teach this move or promote it is insulting.  Spencer in my heart you are a State Champion!

  12. So then why wrestle anyone head to head if it is better to just not wrestle anyone?

Sure if we want to take it to the extreme, wrestle all your guys 10 times aganist the easiest opponent and get a good seed.  At that point are you helping or hurting your team. You can't hide forever in the tournament series.

  13. But A has higher winning percentage over B, so he can't be out.

Yes A is out he has a H2H loss. Like you said it is the first critiria on the list.  Once you eliminate a person you move on to the next critiria.

  14. According to the info you have... This is how it should go

Wrestler A get #1 because he has two common wins over wrestler E and has beaten all 3 others

Wrestler D would get #2 because his only loss is to wrestler A, and based on his record win %

Wrestler B gets #3 because of the win over wrestler C and E

    Wrestler C gets #4

Wrestler E gets #5, even with the common win over A, because A has two common wins over him

C is a semi state quarter kid so he would have a higher seed than D.

  15.

    Wrestler A  23-8 Wins over wrester b, c, and d

Wrestler B 20-5 beats wrestler c and lost to a

Wrestler C 25-7 lost to a and b is a semi state quarter kid

Wrestler D 25-5 head to head lost to A

Wrestler E 23-11 Lost to wrestler b and c has a common over wrestler A

    How should these be seeded?

    Good Luck

    A has common over E also, therefore E is out and the rest solves itself. A is 1, B is 2, C is 3, D is 4, and E is 5.
