Most of the schools in this regional have been out of school for the past three days. I am assuming most of them will be back tomorrow, however there may be a few schools that won't hold classes tomorrow. I believe that the individual regional can still take place on Saturday even if a school is not in session friday. However, if even one school is out on Friday and hasn't been in session since Monday does that give all the schools at the Perry Regional a weight allowance and what would that be?
Bed Davis is out tomarrow (Friday) they were in on monday and out tuesday -friday what will that allowence be?

Really...Some of the above statements are just...WOW!!!
I see no need to resort to slamming your work because it does generate more interest in our sport and this website but I wonder if the rankings are more intended for the latter. If you are as knowledgeable as one would think you need to be for such a task you of all people should know that some kids don't improve much over short periods of time and others make huge strides...and just because a kid loses to Johnny doesn't mean that everyone Johnny loses to is better. Match ups...styes...flukes...ect.
over the summer whitten beat buckley so i dont think that means anything

I cant wait to see what is said after semi-state. no way in HEL>>>> is B. White winning at 140. he will be lucky to make it out of this weekend. good wrestlers have figured him out, don't let him get the legs in and crank and he is very predictable. he will not make it out of semi-state if he even makes it there. Rattey and Keiffer are tuff but are they tuff enough? 140 is loaded this year alot of good wrestlers at that weight. other then Keiffer from RC. Rattey. winning it my dark horse is Rose from NC placing and handing someone an upset. if it is an upset. all those guys are wrestling well at that weight. who knows. not me or i would buy lottery tickets.
Davenport BD will be in that mix also

Here are my predictions for the top 4
103: McGinley Ron, Whitten BD, Lock Shelb, Cottey PM
112: LeCount PM, King Ron, Barajas FC, Fee NP
119: Farrell GC, Moss BD, Martin FC, Schmith BG
125: Kieffer Ron, McKinley PM, Wagner NP, Reeves WC
130: Bova PM, Elsea NP, Clark Shelb, Ader Ron
135: Kieffer Ron, Roberts BG, Miller TC, Klinesmith PM
140: Ulrey NP, Kieffer Ron, Louzon BG, Davenport BD
145: Riedling WC, James Pike, McClurg BG, Zielinksi Ron
152: Johnson PM, Spencer Pike, Jones WC, Rojas Ron
160: McGinley GC, Judkins Speed, Harz PM, Arddizone Ron
171: Albertson Ron, Masengale PM, Early GC, English BD
189: Tasseff PM, Mueller BG, Nickell Ron, Allen Speed
215: Tucker Ron, Balbach MTV, Cooper PM, Netherton FC
285: Uhls Shelby, Decker BG, Cheh FC, White WC
I know some of these might be a little biases, but I think all of these are reasonable results.
Warren Central: 10 Champs Decatur Central: 4 Champs
I think it will go like this
At 103 i dont see McGinley beating Whitten and Lock will definatley not beat Cottey
At 119 Moss will beat Farrell
At 140 Joe will beat ulrey and Davenport will get no less than 2nd
At 285 Taylor will beat Cheh and Decker
-
Whitten, Moss, Davenport, English, Taylor are favorites to win their first round match.
I would consider matches at 130, 152, and 160 all toss up matches where BD could win.
ya there is no way that only 3 are making it out
103, 112 could, 119, 130 could, 135 could, 140, 145, 152, 160 could, 171, 189 could, 285 thats way more than 3
112, 130, 135, 145, 152, 160, 189, and even the 215 are all toss ups and some SHOULD pull off the first round win

Could someone share with me Nathan Boston's accomplishments on the mat. Both in-state and National results would be greatly appreciated. Here or by PM. Thanks!
i am not for sure all of them but the only ones that i have heard of is he won nationals as a peewee or when he was younger and what he has done as a freshman this year and thats all i know

What regionals go to new castle semi-state?
-
Uhls will beat Taylor, Farrell will beat Moss?
we"ll see
-
Pending anything crazy at Team Regionals.
I think Perry Meridan advances 12 to Semi State with 7-8 Champions, maybe 9.
They are peaking at the Right Time.
i agree i also think Ben Davis could go to semi-state with all 13 with at least 3 champs
-
McGinley is wrestling very well right now I think, he beats Whitten in another tight one. And I am sticking to Farrell over Moss, he is a better wrestler I think than Moss. It will be an exciting match I think between these two, definitely.
i disagree i think whitten will beat mcginley if you saw there last match at the WC tournament whitten lost by 2 due to bad positioning in the second period and whitten looked solid at sectionals coming out with the win 9-0 over cottey who recently pinned him i think he looked solid there. Farrell is not at all a Better wrestler than moss they might be equal but moss will come out with the win it will be an exciting match i will agree with that but we will just have to see
-
HaHa the only think I have predicted is Sliga to win 189 and Perry to win Team State lets see whos wrong!! You really put BD and Franklin in the same sentence as PM? You must be lost!!
im gonna have to agree with wrestling is life on this one and year at this point with who is getting the most out of their teams individually BD PM and Franklin is right no matter who wins team state
