I don't think Brooks will even make varsity for Warsaw next year

I know it's a bit late to be bringing this up but who do you guys think hit one of the grimiest, nastiest, nicest moves at individual state. Granted, a lot  of the wrestlers at state hit some nice moves but there were some that stuck out to me. Neal Molloy hit a dirty super duck against Luke Blanton, Jason Tsirtsis and Jarred Brooks both hit some nice boot scoots. I was just wondering what everybody was thinking.

Is tommy cash a big 106? Any chance of him going up to 113, so both these guys can wrestle varsity? I was hearing the red kid was 2-3 State Championships material, IDK never seen him wrestle, but the people talking about him spoke very highly. I couldn't imagine a wrestler that good, not wrestling varsity as a freshman.

Imo Chad Red is a good wrestler. The times that I have seen him wrestle I was impressed.

It seems like a few people on this messageboard make it a main priority to start unnecessary drama. Brooks I'm sure was not trying to be derespectful (apparently there is a new spelling for disrespectful) or rude and was just excited to get on the mat. It was pretty obvious that he was not trying to ruin Micic's moment.

Bigger shame would be if they didn't wrestle at all. I just hope we get to see it with Willis at 100% or as close to that as possible. 

 

Bigger than usual Friday night match with Phillips and Crume and this one in the quarters setting up to be a great event.

I agree. This state tournament is looking to be one of the best I've seen.

It's a shame these guys won't be wrestling each other in the finals. I really wanted to see them both wrestle under the lights but I'm gonna go with Mappes on this one.

Tsirtsis and Brooks are ranked 1st, others include Boston, Ayersman, McKinley, Sliga, Micic, Mason Todd, and Devon Jackson. I think that's all, but could be wrong.

That's almost all of them. Brendan Campbell is #16 ,  Neal Molloy is #19, Connor Mullins is #18, and Tyler Willis is #15. These plus the others you listed are the ones on Intermat. Just thought I'd let you know.

Nathan I'm glad you got on here to clear some things up. I'm sure you're getting a kick out of some of these ignorant comments . Wish you the best of luck buddy and will stay in touch!

I think some people are selling Douthitt a little short. He's been banged up, but he's a very good wrestler. LN has also shown a remarkable ability to elevate their wrestling in the team series.

Thanks Dingo. Im proud of my teammates and of how far we have come as a team. We have a great coaching staff and season that I will always remember.

Hey, if any of the 171 or 89 pounders happen to drop out I would like to fill in. Just puttin that out there  .

Bryce is also an up and coming wrestler at LC. He had a good freestyle season.
