Struck voted vice president of IHSWCA

Jeffersonville High School head wrestling coach Danny Struck was voted the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association?s vice president last Friday.

Struck will be replacing the outgoing vice president, Trent McCormick of Yorktown High School. McCormick has been elected president of the IHSWCA.

Winning the vice presidential election means Struck will take over as the IHSWCA?s president in two years.

Struck has been Jeff?s head coach for nine years. He has led the Red Devils to four sectional titles in the past five years, and just received his ninth coach of the year selection from various organizations. He was named the IHSWCA Regional Coach of the Year this past season.

Struck serves on the Indiana State Wrestling Association?s board of directors as the state coach in charge of naming coaches for national teams and developing coaches.
