Carter Lewis picked up his first win of the season with a forfeit and Kaden Davidson, down at 106, scored an easy fall. After a few more forfeits, Mavrick Summersett built a big lead and finished off Ty Korporal with a fall in the second period. The dual did provide a great opportunity for Clayton Trausch and Rinor Veseli to score wins and build confidence for the coming weeks. Trausch won 11-6 after yielding the first takedown to Andrew Kessler at 145. The Starfires had four forfeits themselves, resulting in four double forfeits on the night. The match ended with a fall win by Veseli and 220 and then a wild match at 220, where Jacob Plattner went back and forth with Jaren Clupper before eventually flattening his opponent as the Stars scored the 57-0 shutout.
