I have enjoyed all I my interactions across the mat, walking down the hall, and especially the seeding meetings. Larry will always be remembered and talked about with a smile for years to come! Thanks for the great memories. Randy

I probably missed the announcement, but what is the date/place this year? Getting our pre-season stuff lined out.

If it is going to happen it will come out when the rule updates are announced, usually the end of April.

Potential Big Changes in Indiana Wrestling

Sectional and Regional realignments are reviewed and changed every two or three years is my understanding, and was told that it is done to balance the strength of the regionals. That drive for sectional and regional is not a moral builder. -
The strength of the Moorseville Regional creates a lack of diversity in the later rounds, parents/teams/family members/fans aligned to the other regionals may not be staying around after their competitors are eliminated. As Triple B said the south is so big that most team aligned fans don't know many of the other competitors.

Wrestling everyone in our sectional would be very difficult since most teams are nearly 2 hours away. That, along with parents wanting to see their kids against local teams as much as possible, much the same as basketball and football. Logistics/conference obligations/IHSAA rules start to compete against each other very quickly. -

Our school system has shut down all activities effective today at 3:00 until Sunday, 25 December. Unfortunately, our schedule does not have the flexibility for us to move the event this year, but we do plan to have it next year. Coach Lynch
