Gotta love all the people on here that have never even felt the feeling of winning a sectional title let alone a NATIONAL title criticizing Bubba's celebration. I know this if I would have won a National title (not to mention a pin over the school that told me I wasn't good enough) I would have celebrated myself. Seriously, stop chastising a National Champ. Agreed. This was one of the worst calls I have ever seen. Hate to see a kid lose because the refs can't do the job they're getting paid to do. Ticket round wrestling is the most exciting wrestling in the state. Sad to see Joes season end this way. Not taking anything away from the other wrestler but Joe won that match. On a side note, mat two during the ticket round (same mat where this match took place) was the worst officiated mat all day. Missed several calls. I observed several matches where they let wrestling continue past the clock. With this caliber of wrestling we need better officials.

duck_and_run... I have read several of your post on this site and you seem to not be the brightest "poster." I agree with the voting. Bellmont has a great coaching staff. But a win is a win any way you look at it. Doesn't matter if you beat a team by 40 points or 4 points you still won. Yes, Bellmont did take just as many to semi-state BUT how many did they take to state? I'm thinking its a lot less than Yorktown.

SlickRodz, at 130 Boyd can't get 2nd since him and Miracle wrestle in the semis. That weight looks a lil bias. no love for the jennings sectional

"panterdad" I feel that you are the one that is getting on here and bad mouthing Coach Skinner and his team. I do believe that Coach Skinner never "bad mouth" Baldwin. I was not at sectionals so I have no opinion on what really happened during the match. BUT I have wrestled against Scottsburg many times and Coach Skinner is a standup guy. If one of his wresters did something wrong he would be the first to admit it and call them out on it. I am not by any means taking anyones side but it is disrespectful for you to leash out at Coach Skinner like you did. Coach Skinner has done wonders for the Scottsburg program and it is you my friend that is tearing our sport apart. It 's parents that get on here and talk like they know the sport like the back of their hand and bash on others that is tearing this sport apart. And you have no right to bash on Tanner for being upset after his match. Sure he could have handle himself better but I would put money on it that ANY undefeated Senior would react the same way after his season being ended the way that Tanners ended. I wish all the best to Jennings County and Scottsburg in the upcoming Bloomington South regional. P.S. Coach Skinner if you read this you're one of the better coaches in Southern Indiana.

Agree on Yortowns 125,130,and 135 being the best wrestlers there. Also, the welch twins looked very dominant themselves.
