  1. LC, Chesterton, Columbia City, Gary Roosevelt, South Bend Adams. Chesterton went undefeated on the day
  2. When can we get some results? I imagine Crown Point walked away with the team title .
  3. Not sure, from what I remember from years past is. Hobart, Goshen, Knox, Whiting, Highland, and a Hammond school. Maybe someone else can helps us out.

  5. 1st Who said anything about north or south? I was wondering what teams were going to be in the tourney? Plain and simple! When I see that someone posted that Reitz (a very solid team) was going to win hands down. I took for granted there was some mediocre teams wrestling in this tourney. 2nd I couldn't agree with you more, after seeing the teams and possible match ups it will be a good one to see! All the points you made above just describes what a tough sport this is. Nothing to do whether a tourney is tough or not. Next time just answer the question and stop trying to read in between the lines. I Love this sport I think the whole state is headed in the right direction (NORTH and SOUTH). There was no harm intended don't create something that wasn't there.
  6. What teams are in this Tourney? How can you say that this is one of the tougher tournaments when someones else is claiming Reitz will win it hands down?
  7. I have talked to some college coaches and I always ask that question. The answer is always where they finish in February!
  8. I totally disagree with you. The top at 160 in my opinion and most unbiased opinions would say that 160 is stacked!
  9. I would have to say 112 and 152 both are stacked with some very good individuals. 103 would be my pick for the weakest
  10. Merrillville, Crown Point, and Portage are all in different sectionals.
  11. Your right I might not remember the exact score but I do remember telling myself if St. Germain was there Cesterton wins. Also I think I remember, you can ceck your archives but chesterton had 8 guys place higher than Crown point at the conference tourney. Whats with the OLD wisecrack?
  12. I agree decbell does an excellent job. I also like that he does not take the previous rankings into account.
  13. Thanks for the info and Good Luck Coach! Keep up the good work ,in my opinion you are one of the top coaches in the state. Always looking to wrestle the top competition. Hopefully and can make the drive down there and watch Mishawaka put a whooping on Lowell MI.
  14. I can't remember all the teams from last year. I know that coach Synder is always looking to improve the Al Smith. Can someone tell me what teams got out and which teams are new to the tourney this year. So far I noticed that Munster is new this year.
  15. Acuna went 3-0? What happen to his other 2 matches?
  16. Who did Kourtney lose to? Also Zach Thorton 125 from Chesterton went 5-0
  17. Even though we shared the same area code. The region has alwats been the northwest tip of Indiana. Mishawaka has never been part of the "REGION"
  18. Even though I love this dual format, sometime i wish it would be an individual tourney so we can see some of the match ups we couldn't see because it is a team tourney
  19. I for one thought that Chesterton had the stronger team that year. If you go back and look at the match ups you to will probably see that it was no upset. Crowm point had beaten us in a dual by 3 or 4 points earlier that year when Chesterton was missing St Germain. Also the Conference tourney was a 3 way battle til the final round.
  20. I wouldn't say destroying, he was in control had his legs in. I think he was trying to crossface for some cheap back points. Correct me if I'm wrong but the score was 2-0 at the time. I seemed like the Clay kid knew exactly were he was and was trying for the pin
  21. If i had to guess, It might be that they were beating everyone by a large margin and Clay was winning at the very end. I know for sure that the heavy weight was not there usual. Also there 152 lber pinned himself and the 145lber was down 2-0 and rolled and got pinned with 8 seconds left. again great job Clay for wrestling the whole 6 minutes.
  22. Not to take anything away from Clay but Yorktown did wrestle some JV. Clay wrestled really good on some of the matches I was able to watch they out hustled and kept wrestling the full 6 minutes. Congratulations Clay!!!
  23. Is there a possibility of Lopez making it down to 103. The kids a real good wrestler hate to see him out of the line up.
  24. Its another true test for Portage having Cathedral in the second round. I think Portage can pull it off. You have some tough individual match ups.
  25. Anthony will be wrestling 160. He weighed in somwhere around 175
