  1. The Indiana Inferno MS duals team is in need of a wrestler to fill our HWT spot maximum weight is 255. The team will travel to Iowa April 11th through the 13th to participate in the AAU National Duals. We have gear packages still available and can help with transportation if needed. Please contact me at gadwalltwo@yahoo.com asap as this spot will be filled on a first come basis. We have a very competitive team with every member being a state and or national champion. This is an excellent opportunity to wrestle some good competition and have alot of fun.

  4. I also agree both are great posts, the only thing I hope is the board takes into consideration the families who are forced to drive long distances to get thier child to an iswa club. I would think if the families are wiling to make the drive and the child is a regular club member it shouldnt matter how far away they are. I just dont believe distance is a good criteria to base this restriction on. I believe that some wrestling families will go whatever the distance to help their young westlers. The people around the Indianapolis area are very fortunate in the sense that they have the numbers and facilities to be able to provide this type of opportunity to thier children. Many of our rural communities do not have the ability to provide this opportunity and these children will be left out. I just hope that the iswa board will take this into consideration when making their decision, its a tough call and I fully understand that someone will try to abuse the system at some point, it seems inevitable today but I just dont feel driving distance is a vailid point what is to far for parent X may seem resonable to parent Y. I would propose that as both Mattyb and chickenwing have both stated it is only four kids if they are club members let them wrestle, some of these kids may never get a chance to wrestle on a team at a big event like this again.
  5. Just wanted to say thanks for a good day of wrestling, everything ran smooth good job Peru!
  6. Last report was that Rowe was wrestling at NW. He will have to sit out his suspension- not sure how many meets that is tho. Here are some names that should be tough in MWC. Dillan Rehn WC Angus Cameron WC Tyler Hileman NW Travis Bannon NW Travis Rowe NW
  7. West Central will be tough in MWC this year.
  8. Purdue does have alot of potential this season keep your eye on Brown at 197!
  9. Coach Harper is a great coach and teacher and will build a very tough and competitve program at Penn. Our family has known Harper since is days at BC and we have not found a coach that even comes close. Which is why from time to time we make the two hour drive to Penn to give or son a refresher course on how to be a winner on and off the mat. Harper will not only build a great wrestling program he will also help set standards and goals that will help his wrestlers on and off the mat.
  10. MCKAJC, The stairs are at Purdue on the north side of the stadium, my son works out at Purdue and gets to run them in the summer. He however doesn't see this as a privilege ;D... but I guess when I was 10 I would have felt the same way.
  11. I had a question asked of me recently and thought it might be fun to get some feedback on it : With so many kids at folkstyle state why not cut the age break to 1 year ?example an 8 year old would only wrestle other 8 year olds at his weight.
