Hi, to all reading this! This is Daniel Bedoy, and I just recently got back home from the 2010 NCAA Wrestling Tournament! I was able to work as a spotter for ESPN(sorry, Y2), which means I was able to be mat side relying match info to the guys in the truck who control the ticker you see in the corner of your television. It was awesome to be down there, and as an outsider get an inside look at these guys at the top level! The one common factor that was most apparent was the level of intensity, the sacrifice of time and effort the whole year, was for this tourney! Those young men have given so much, and as dreams were made and others lost... The one common theme regardless of outcome was that, it was the end of a Journey, Which brings me to the point of why I am contacting you now, as most of you know my journey for a NAIA title for Cal College didn't end how I had set out for. However, this disappointment has not ended my wrestling career! As most of you know me, "I aint going out like that" (in the most region slang). My rib should heal up in a couple weeks where I can train again, and I have my eyes set on the U.S. Open in Greco April 24th (My birthday). As I being the journey, I am offering 3 month training program, Where I will help kids get to the next level in this sport, as I train for this last horah... I want to put some ending notes on this sport, before going on to other endeavors. I feel that I have the knowledge as well as the network to ensure that the highest caliber of training is available. I want to implement a program of success, that I have witnessed from the highest levels. I am going to bring in the best as well as go to the best, and I want to bring some of the kids around here along! Hey guys this is Bedoy, First off let me say thanks for all the support! Indiana wrestling has always been a good portion of who I am..and as of lately Indiana has been gettin that respect finally..."With them Indiana boys, on them Indiana Nights" a little petty shout out to all my peers from my Team Indiana trips. Ok but the reason I'm posting is about a couple jabs at Andy. Now dont get me wrong im all for a little smack talk, but I also acknowledge that sometimes you could hurt peoples feelings. Well not trying to bust him out, but for all who know Andy, knows he's a happy go lucky guy. But, being around him recently I saw this one thing kinda get to him. Now it would be one thing if these jabs were thrown in there with alot of congrats, but that wasnt the case. It was just like hey old man bedoys busting out the shoes, wrestling with 18yr old kids, but nah lets bust on Andy... when I could have been a good target. Ha! The thing is Andy has done so much for this sport, and hes just starting to get in those trophy cases now as a coach. And let me tell you he's in a really good spot under Vega to contribute towards some hardware. So, can I get a little Love for my guy Andy? Is that too much to ask? For all that he's done for this sport so far and I promise you more to come. Keep in mind fellas he's gonna be the ast. coach at a potential small college power house in Indiana that gives 6,000 dollar scholarships to all it's athletes. Andy's gonna have his hand in that. I think at the very least that should give him a little respect or gather some common sense on your behalf towards him. I love Indiana wrestling and the people in this sport. I was talking to Balentine about the charactersvwe've met in this sport. We're all crazy people but good people. And sometimes we go to far.
