Didn’t want this to be known,  but now the cats out of the bag. The injury occurred again over the summer late. The choice was to fix it and miss the season or to tape it up and try to grind it and repair it after season. He chose to wrestle as it couldn’t get any worse and to get it fixed now (after season). With that said, it popped out and back in Friday night. It freaked him out. It was slipping all weekend. If he doesn’t set it when it slips, it can go all the way out. Long story short, he didn’t make it through his placement match and we were ok with what he accomplished this season. 
 
With all of this said…  He has wrestled CP 4 times. Cruz twice and Will Clark twice. You guys never had a single drink during those losses. Never took injury against those monsters. 
 
Lastly.. if you are questioning the toughness or integrity of my kid.. you have never met him or the rest of my family. We don’t roll like that. Feel free to call and discuss.

Interesting take.  So LaRocca, VanderLuitgaren, Courtney, Krejsa and Johnson are all boring? 
 
Wow, not sure who you are, but you must be dominant in wrestling and just a physical specimen, scoring at will. 
 
Sounds like you just didn't like the outcome of one match or weight class. 
 
I get it, its hard to watch people you like lose but also with center grove bringing so many kids to state, simple math would say that not every kid on the team every match would be up to your clearly high standards. 

Soooo to the people who say that they are boring, don’t score points etc. do you want to explain why center grove scored the most total match points as a team? Or are you guys not ready to have that conversation yet?

Why talk about kids injuries, what they do during injury time, what they did in matches, their integrity ? 
Pretty sure 99.9% of all the wrestlers at State is dealing with some injuries. 
SMH… I don’t get it . 

I’m going off what the original injury post said that it happened multiple times this year and he continued to wrestle with it and pop it back in. You’re also conflating my post with the CP poster. I’m just saying that’s a crazy injury to wrestle through and can’t imagine it won’t lead to chronic pain. I just question what we’re doing as a high school wrestling culture, as a whole, sometimes.
 
Tough. Yes, insanely tough. A great idea, maybe not if it’s coming out all the time, but what do I know, I’m not a doctor. 

His injiry is disgusting and just shows his toughness, resilience and commitment to both team and individual commitment. What a warrior

Guys that have never wrestled or will ever understand what these kids and families sacrifice make up rules on how a kid and team can celebrate. 
 
Word is that they tell kids that they can’t eat PB&J during faceoff … no matter how hungry you are!!!  

I hope not, we were in second row from the floor. Could not see much of the matches. All the chairs and people on the floor.

There are more of them. 🙄 lol. They all have a lot in common - incredibly humble, talented, and sportsmanlike.  Like you hate losing to them but always find yourself rooting for them against anyone else. It’s a really awkward feeling that I still can’t wrap my brain around.  Seriously, really weird.  Win or lose they always show class and they are also always ridiculously good at wrestling. So much respect for that family….and we are their “rival”.  I can’t root against them when they aren’t wrestling Brownsburg.  Again, very strange.  I’m going to go see a psychologist. 

People can look at it as CP blew it, but why not look at it as the state of Indiana is strong as a whole. The talent levels over the past decade has exploded in our state, and we are seeing it in the national and college level as well.

Yup, you sure got them...if it weren't for their multiple recent state champions and their kids signing some sweet scholarships to great programs, they would probably lose sleep over you not approving of how they did it
