  1. Way to represent! Awesome showing - now make some noise in FS!
  2. Looks like 3 possible triple crowns in the Junior div. 98 - Howell (MO) 112/105 - Freddie Rodriguez (MI) 160/152 - Ravaughn Perkins (NE) I think "My Man Mitch", Howell and Rodriquez will get it done
  3. Thanks - I got on just in time -- To bad it was to see his only loss thus far Still has an outside chance for title match
  4. http://www.themat.com/section.php?section_id=3&page=showarticle&ArticleID=22278
  5. Mich Sliga is 1 of only 2 cadet wrestlers still alive for the triple crown (the other is Zan Richrads - IL @ 130) Has this ever been accomplished by an IN wrestler (besides Sliga @ schoolboy)? What a great ambassador for Indiana Wrestling!
  6. On Trackwrestling it has Aaron Stevenson as an injury default anybody have any details? I hope it is not serious.
  7. Jackson Bratcher has looked good and had a good showing at Flonationals/Duals - I'd put him in the mix at 171 (just not sure who I'd leave off) -- Have Stein and Quiroz wrestled since the 2008 state finals? Could be a very interesting match up with a good back story (sorry about the pun - I could not resist)...
  8. ESPN360.com (if your ISP carries it) lets you choose between 4 mats to watch - starting at 10:30. Anyone know what mat Quiroga will be on this morning?
  9. Good point - Starting to wonder if DNR is just your north eastern alter ego....
  10. Wow - that's quite an addition - Coach Tsirtsis clinics are awesome.
  11. I think he (she - don't want to be sexist) has more fun on this site than anybody
  12. Very true - great showing by underclassmen (9 - 10) this year. There were only 4 weight classes in which an underclassmen did not place: 285 (no surprise) 171 145 125
  13. Congratulations to the 3 freshman placed at state this year 103 - 6th, Josh Farrell, Greenfield-Central 152 - 8th, Austin Neibarger - Cathedral 189 - 3rd, Mitch Sliga I think we were a bit spoiled with the 2009 Freshmen - 2 champs and 9 total place winners.
  14. Many are multi-sport athletes and still wrestle outside the school year - - a couple of examples would be Duckworth and Nate Cleveland
  15. 1986 state finals, Miles Nilson, Winamac at 132, pinned everyone at the state finals, but I don't know if he pinned everyone from sectionals - SS.
  16. As big as Sliga looked compared to this past summer - He maybe 215 next year -- how can a kid that big do the splits -- I don't know about the rest of you but I was squirming in my watching that!
  17. Well said. It was the IHSAA Doc that told Willis he could not go, and at the time Willis thought he had lost - thus not likely he was tanking. I found it in very poor taste that he was repeatedly boo'ed, before, during and after the match and again while he was on the podium. If any good came of it -- It was nice to hear the excessive cheers for McMurray - what a great career
  18. Thanks for all the effort you put into the rankings Excellent job!
  19. Getting the cart in front of the horse a bit - I can't bring myself to vote
  20. All 4 from NC at 112 advanced - Is there any other weight class where all 4 from a SS advanced?
  21. Austin Neibarger over Quincy Richey
