  1. Filled out a state bracket but you have no points for my total
  2. Watts showed great energy last weekend, Looks like a man on a mission! Mendez dominated the whole field. No match lasting enough to get his blood pumping. The last time Mendez went all the way to the third was along time ago, and I could bet watts has not either until against Curtis. Watts was the better wrestler against Curtis. This will be epic! Mendez with his relentless attack and watts with Defense and length. Could go either way!
  3. CP has alot of returning but alot of teams return alot of wresstlers. CP lost big time to MISH. If they would have been closer in score I would say the would be the favorite but they got smoked. I firlmly beleive I saw alot of quality wrestling in the state championships and no one is the clear cut favorite. I am a region fan and I am impressed with the wrestling in northwest Indiana and the rest of the state. If I was to pick a team I would be CP but any one can win it all.
  4. tis is what I believe will be the team state championship. Castle could prevail but I am picking yorktown against the knights For those who think you know wrestling in Indiana I am but a region fan who would love to see CP in the final but I don't think they have the bulls to pull the sled. Mish.,and york., are among the top, I believe. Yorktown with the upset.
  5. great competitor. Was a privledge to watch you wrestle this weekend . Keep up the hard work. You are great state champion.
  6. This is not little league , this is a varsity sport ,if you want to shake hands see you at the end of the tournament. If not "Suck it up" and get ready for your next fight.
  7. Yorktown was very impressive this weekend. Watch out!
  8. congrats to champs Ayserman,Porras,Tristis,Roach, Mcmurray, and Cleveland . Once again the region represents. Congrats to all who wrestled in the state tournament. The memories you gave to all your families will never be forgotten.
  9. The wrestling state finals is by far the best specticle the hoosier state has to offer. I have been to the finals for all the sports girls and boys, and I can not put in words the capacity of tension and excitement that is moving from mat to mat. A sport that is individual and promotes disipline, desire, sportsmanship, and makes you humble from day to day. A sport that most kids need to keep in the right path of life. Self -confidence is the greatest trait that a person needs to survive in this world. Wrestling provides this no matter if your a state qualifier or a state champion. It would be nice to see this event broadcasted all over indiana on TV with no interruptions . Maybe the IHSAA will look into it!
  10. 103 Phillips to much hype in the m-ville ss (Petrov-Brooks) the 2nd of 4 titles 130 Tristis automatic 145 Roach On a mission 160 Mac Thanks for the memmories ( 3 titles ) 171 Duck automatic HWT Travis (Region big man) Anyone can be beat , These 6 you can take to the bank.
  11. 7 teams from Pa. Now that is impressive!!!
  12. two matches stand out the most, the pin at the 103 and the explosion 125, both freshman and will become 4 time state champs.
  13. congrats to every cp wrestler who has wore the singlet for the dogs. Coach Vlink deserves everything this team has accomplished as individuals and as a team. It has been a long time since swinehart and maile. The only two state champs from CP. You gentleman have new members to your clan. These three are special and two have more to prove. DOGS!!!!
  14. I think the region has won to many state championships over the last couple of years. Bad draws! go figure!
