  1. I think Bullock has a shot at grabbing 6 points. Gilcher getting saldate again will validate the he last match they had. Saldate will be on the war path to protect seed. That’s if he even wrestles. May want to save for the conference tournament. Or if Indiana could pull the 125lb match out, I’m thinking W
  2. After going back through this thread I fount the 1st , initial post. And……., I don’t know where there was any “hate” about the IU program. There was facts of records and observations about the program that still stand, as far as I’m concerned. But not hate. The same for the PU program. We all want to keep the instate programs in an upward trajectory. This is what this web site is for. Observing and sharing opinions. But it isn’t the same as hate.
  3. So wrestling inexperienced guys or “young” guys means what? I there a point to this?
  4. Looks like 9-session 1&2 2pm “. 3 4pm. Final
  5. Any suite’s have a couple openings for a couple of well mannered men?
  6. Wil they serve beer before noon? My main concern
  7. I think msu is a bad matchup for Indiana also. So this is what I think separates good teams from middle pack or bottom teams. Indiana and Purdue need to start beating the so call bad matchups to be considered good teams. I may be wrong here, but when you are good you win them.
  8. I can agree with you on this. The Mena situation on Duane Goldmans staff sure was odd. Mena seemed to be able to reel in and develop talent, unlike anyone else in the later stages of the Goldman era. And I thought, at the time, the logical replacement for Duane going forward in the program. We all know what happened to the program. But unsure as to why Mike Mena left. I know he was training for an Olympic run, but seems he just disappeared into thin air. Similar to Soriano ,the onetime Northwestern coach. Water under the bridge. I would like to see another like Mena, on staff, to work on the recruit and develop side and generate higher talented incoming wrestlers. I think it’s starting to sink in with Angel. He’s had to train while on the job, per se.Slow process.
  9. Team Garcia? I mean……. We’ve all felt his posts. I’m really not sure though. Could anyone verify?
  10. So indiana ain’t going to be classified as a mid conference tier? If sparty beats us. Michigan state only won a single dual in the big this season so far. I guess back to the bottom feeder status. Unless we win this match. I say we are going to win.
  11. But wrestle stat has State kicking butt 20 something to 7.
  12. I would assume that barring injuries, both of these squads will have their starting 10 wrestling in this dual. Should be another close match.
  13. Last sentence here says it all. And then out of the other sides of their mouths, “we need to figure out how to grow the wrestling community, the sport “ This is a catch 22
  14. Penn state vs IU,Another prime example of the new D1 system. Plenty of hold outs in this one. Michigan vs Oklahoma State yesterday, another example of a lot of hold outs. Duals mean nothing anymore, purely exhibition,It’s all about getting your guy in peak form for March.
  15. Braunegal having tough weekend. Silas got him last match
  16. Guess that was the end of IU’s scoring for the match
  17. Pennsylvania state started out with subs Indiana was up 8-0 , nice of them to throw Indiana a bone
