Coach Hartman got a reaction from MUSKEEWRESTLER in Favorite Singlets
I am a little biased but we used to let the senior captains design singlets and these two seemed pretty good. The checkerboard Clay singlets and then the Superman singlets for the finals with a cape drawn on the back. Good old days!

Coach Hartman got a reaction from FCFIGHTER170 in Paul Gunsett
He was one of the nicest guys out there, always respectable and easy to be respected. He is a loss to the Wrestling community and the Bellmont program. My condolences to his family and community. I will miss our wrestling jokes to each other at the state meet!

Coach Hartman got a reaction from Steven Sandefer in East Chicago Semi-State Predictions
I think that Penn has a chance to get almost 9 through if they wrestle well! The 2 or 3 post was funny though.

Coach Hartman got a reaction from Anthony Snyder in Wrestlers on the field
Austin Faulkner of Mishawaka is tearing it up for the 3rd ranked Cavemen! Article every Saturday about him leading the team to a victory! His younger brother starting at offensive line now also. Gotta be a proud papa in former all-state wrestler Mike Faulkner!

Coach Hartman got a reaction from dwise in Most in finals ever from one semistate
Gonna be hard to beat EC semi-state with 5 returning state champs and three returning state runner-ups coming out of there this year!

Coach Hartman got a reaction from SooperBod in Da Region
As a former coach I used to try and schedule most of our out of conference tournaments in "da Region" so that we could get used to that hard nosed type of wrestling before we wrestled there at semi-state. Definitely a completely different style of wrestling in the Region. I used to have kids physically beat on each other all week to get ready for the Region. You better respect the Region or get your butt kicked.

Coach Hartman reacted to Coach Peck in Pendleton Heights Wrestling
I wanted to take a moment and thank the Pendleton Heights Wrestling Team and it's Coaches for the kindness, and great honor, they showed me this past Saturday at our Wrestling Invitational. As many of you know, my wife Bonnie passed away in late August after a battle with cancer. Anyone who knew Bonnie realized what a wonderful person she was. She had a contagious smile, loved to make new friends , and went out of her way to help people when at all possible. There were a number of years when she went to Pendleton to help the Arabian Wrestling Club with pairing their springtime tournament. She got to where she looked forward to going because she had made friends with a number of the people and she enjoyed seeing them. Anyway, at our meet Saturday the members of the Pendleton Heights team as well as Coach Cloud and the other members of his staff approached me and presented me with one of their Team T-Shirts. On the sleeve of the shirt was a rembrance to Bonnie. Needless to say this big guy was moved. They all shook my hand and had something to say. They all seemed happy to be doing it. I deeply appreciated it, and I will never forget it. Thinking about the kindness shown is moving me to tears as I type this. I just want to say, "Thanks Arabian Wrestlers and Coaches for being so kind and for having such class. I know Bonnie would appreciate it as well."
