He's gotta wrestle better than he did against Fellers, or he won't make it, but chances are he's gonna come in determined but he will have to wrestle a six minute match of his life and constanly keep the opponent on his heels, he didn't do a good job against Fellers when the opportunity presented itself to win which he had multiple chances to get the final takedown, but it will be a good one. Good luck to all the wrestlers! I'll be pulling for ALL the RIchmond Reg. kids We probably got 4 champs and multiple state placers I wanna know who's gona be the darkhorse and if any #4 seeds can make it to state!!!???? -

Coach Peck never makes excuses. He always loses and wins with pride and dignity. ALWAYS! I have to compliment him on what he has done for the New Castle program and school system. What a great gentleman, coach, person, sports enthusiast, husband so on and so forth. I just hope that one if not more of his wrestlers can bring home the hardware for him this year @ CONSECO!! (referring to Mullins & Campbell) He deserves it, a guy who has only had 1, ONE, UNO state champion. Yes very hard to believe for such a great coach, I wish him and the rest of his Wrestlers the best of luck in the Tournament.

Does anyone know what injury CLARK sustained last night??? Good luck to all this weekend, should be interesting, I'm gonna say that with NC's kids @112,119,130,135,140,152,160 that the Tri sectional will have more champs or equal, just a thought, not trying to step on anyone's toes but they wrestled pretty solid last night, hope they will have the gas in the tank come Saturday.

Mullins is on a roll, obviously undeafeted, his win over Clark in the fashion that he won makes me say that Mullins is top 2 this year hands down. But we will see. DID Wasson wrestle Manning????

It's stunning when they get all the bonus points and Nc gets none, don't try to tell me that extra effort isn't stunning when 2 wrestlers are both average in the case of 189, 145, 215, HWT where neither team is strong and both pretty equal on paper and in person but Roncalli wins all of those weight classes, they did a heck of a job as a TEAM and won very deserving, not stunning in terms of an upset, stunning in terms of that extra hustle point or fininshing someone on their back or getting off their backs.

COngrats to Ronacalli on another stunning win. I would say extra effort won them this won. Good luck to all wrestlers in the Indiv. tournament where some that loss today can avenge there loses and get to Conseco.

Its gonna come down to 112 & 119 _---i like NC chances at 6 pts @ 112 and catron 119 giving up only 3 to Kieffer..........this sounds like an exciting dual

What are YOUR predictions! Mine are probably a lil bias since I follow the Richmond Reg. and have more knowledge of SD & NC. NC over SD 36-27 RON. over JEN. Co. 31-25 NC over RON. 36-33 for a trip to State ;D

After this week we will find out if any of these guys are on Von's level from a Richmond regional perspective----it would be harrell, brown then becker in that order of who I think has the best shot from this regional to make it to state other than wasson, should be interesting, I would surely pay more than $6 for this weekends regional at Richmond, we should have like a possibility of4 state champ from that regional and 160 is gonna be exciting as will other weight classes, o and the NCSS , that's gonna be a treat again this year, good luck to all.

It's not how u start it's how ya finish BOOKER T, ur killing me, yes tsirtis is a great wrestler and has the best chance to win, but i just want to add a wrinkle in the state finals predictions, :-)

it should be a good match should both reach the final, it may even by a semi-final match sorta like walpole-howe was a four years ago, o and by the way Mullins has that height advantage that may come in handy because they both are very sound technicians. Obviously heart and desire willl determine this match No one is unbeatable this year. Sorry but Howe is & was a special kid.

mofield vs. forman should be a good one in the semi's............but they will first see each other @ team regionals so i will probably redo my pics after i see what happens on wed. night. Its gonna be a good 1!!!!

If we remember last year, Roncalli beat NC by I believe nine, with Campbell being out that was a 12 pt. turnaround plus the Roncalli kids wrestled there rears off and Mullins lost to Kiefer (always forget which one, lol) but this year it will just as close with the bonus points being the difference. I know NC wrestles a lot more matches than Roncalli, but I 'm going to say slight advantage to NC in this one. Here's how I see it paning out, though both will obvisously have to win there first round match.... R NC 103 6 0 112 6 6 119 9 6 125 15 6 130 15 10 135 15 16 140 15 21 145 15 24 152 15 30 160 15 33 171 18 33 189 24 33 215 24 36 HWT 30 36

103: Phillips -UC 112: Campbell-NC 119: Catron-NC 125:Huff-MIL 130:Mullins-NC ( CLark is good, not even close to Mullins level though, maybe he can make to State Hope his injury is nothing serious 135: Rose-NC 140:Fellers-NC 145:Uphaus-CV 152: Bennett-NC 160:Wasson-NC 171: Duckworth-UC 189:Wilger-SD 215: Forman-SD (watchout for Mofield, this kid has lost so many matches by 1-2 pts. he may have something under his sleeve......) HWT:Jackson -MIL I have 8 tri to 6 Fc regional champs, even though they are both very close. It could end up being 8-6 FC. WIth that said I can see up to 4 state champions from this Regional if not more, no less than 3!!! Phillips, Campbell, Mullins and Duckworth. 140, 152 & 160 are gonna be fun weight classes to watch. possible matchups....... Gessell vs. Fellers, Bennett vs.Manning, & Harrel Vs. Wasson. I 'm also gonna add that I'm sticking to all my predictions even after the Team regional.

I did not see the matc but from what I heard he just wasn't himself as he was when he was like 36-1, but saturday when Im there I'll make my own assesment. What was the scoring in that match ?

Here are all the ranked wrestlers in this sectional, 103: NONE 112: #7 Campbell (NC) 119: NONE 125: NONE 130: #2 Mullins (NC) 135: NONE 140: #13 Fellers (NC) 145: NONE 152: #18 Bennent (NC) 160: #11 Wasson(NC) *went down from 171 171:NONE 189: NONE 215: NONE HWT: NONE NC has 5, and all others schools 0, Leeka(TRI) is undeafeted but not ranked, might be because his coach didn't submit record. NONETHELESS rankings don't matter from here on out. I wonder how many state qualifiers we will have from our sectional? I'm gonna say 7.

New Castle is probably the favorite....... here are my picks........ 103 Maggard-RU 112 Campbell-NC 119 Catron-NC (2nd year in a row, Catron needs to really turn it up if he wants to be at state cuz he has ALL the potential, I see Leeka at State as well, very strong kid, needs to finish his singes and doubles inbounds come S.S. time and he should be fine)* 125 Handley-NE 130 Mullins-NC 135 Rose-NC (Hunter -RU tossup.......) 140 Felllers-NC 145 Uphaus-CV 152 Bennent-NC 160 Wasson-NC (really is having a gr8 year, hope to see him @ CONSECO) 171 Flanary-RU 189 Flectcher-CV 215-Mofield -NC (I think this weight class will be pretty exciting, close matches and possibly O.T!!!!!) HWT- Gray-RU
