    If a school can not practice due to weather the two days before the event you can get an additional 2 pounds. Two is the limit.

    so say a 182 pounder gets the normal 2 and then another 2? so they can be 186? idk about that but you could be right

    IF THIS WAS MY KID I WOULD BE OKAY IF HE WASN'T ABLE TO COMPETE ITS IS OWN DUMB ASS FAULT HE DID THIS TAKE THE PUNISHMENT AS IT IS.

      I get what you're saying about double standard but you yourself admitted to getting in trouble doing this same thing but are judging as if you were totally accepting of your punishment as if you knew as you put it was "YOUR DUMB ASS FAULT" and didn't care you got caught..I don't condone this situation but your approach is puzzling.. Are you mad that that they didn't get the same punishment as you?  or are you genuinely concerned about the real problem here and that's what's safety.

    I don't know coach P personally but ppl that I hold in high regard and love like family speak nothing but wonderful things about coach.. Did he make a mistake?  yes..is he human?  yes will he learn from this? guaranteed

    I don't wanna speak too much on things I don't know all about but the man has done a million times more good than he's done bad in this situation for wrestling and thousands of great young men...so I believe he needs to be punished for this however they see fit but Imho he shouldn't lose his job or be looked at  any different..we all need to remember to watch pointing fingers with dirty hands.. and that's not me saying everybody's a cheater or used sauna suits i'm saying that everybody makes mistakes and that we should approach this with a open mind and think about how we would feel if this was us in this situation..

    I'm sure coach P will take the consequences like the man he is..I just hate the negative publicity this has brought to the sport instead of us all celebrating the fact the greatest time of the year is upon us brought to us by the greatest sport on the planet ! i'm not taking the mans side i'm just saying let the powers at be do their job and try not to bash young men who made mistakes and a legend that has made a error..I don't wanna see any wrestlers seasons end because of this but if there's been a precedent set from a previous situation then those same repercussions should be applied..but then again we don't know the specifics on the self reporting and if that had any bearing on the punishment handed down..Hometowns situation he's claiming that is the same could be way different in terms how it was handled and that could be why there wasn't the same punishment.. just sucks this all happened and is the hot topic instead of us talking about the great wrestling that's on the horizon!

    Brownsburg = 10

    Avon = 9

    Plainfield = 5

    Ben Davis = 1

    Danville = 1

    Pike = 1

    *Diesel Duncan is ranked but not listed in the Sectional Bracket therefore I did not count him.

    and most of those are top 10 guys to boot.

    The 2 seed at Elwood also has to wrestle in the first round against an 11-15 kid.  I think it's ridiculous that an 0-3 and a 5-18 have buys but 15-7 and 21-4 do not.  This has to get better

    I agree... but i'm some circumstances a lot of kids would rather wrestle than get a bye... but you're right it's crazy honestly.

    Jordan is such a great kid. I get a kick out of people saying he doesn’t score enough points. He does what he’s supposed to do. He scores enough to get his hand raised most the time. We’ve known him for many years and the cool thing is he’s even a better person than he is a wrestler. Graham loves being around him and thankful they have got to wrestle on many teams together.

    those same ppl complaining about his scoring output also aren't in those big matches or probably never have been.. wrestlers have enough adversity to overcome without having to hear about winning wrong!

    Congrats to Trizton! He is the best 182 Jake has wrestled thus far this year! Good luck to him the rest of the year! Btw Jake won the 182# TEC conference tournament last night to improve to 30-4  on the year! Coffman beat Calderon 6-0 in the 170 final.

    thanks for the kind words and that's awesome for jake!  Coffman is a savage.. Who beat jake other that brooks and sterrett?

    On a different level and it shows through out the year. I’ve watched all his matches . Didnt matter if your National ranked kid or Indiana, Ohio, Michigan kid. Same results .

    yessir! always been a brewer fan even knowing he has beaten up on my guy and his dad is one most genuine guys I've met in the sport.. but i'm grateful for Brewer cuz it keeps trizton honest knowing down the road a killer like that is lurking! I'm proud of all the kids from the county and  knowing that the comp amongst them prepares them all  to face the rest of the state.. congrats on Asa's great season as well.. see yall next weekend!

    Ended up being a great 2 team race with Mt Vernon over Pendleton Heights 238-233. Great race right down to the heavy weights! So proud of our boys, all 14 placed and contributed to the team win.

    This is Mt Vernon's first ever conference title. Coach Masters took home HHC Coach of the Year honors as well. Not too bad for a team that had less than 10 wrestlers just a few years ago!

    congrats and that program has came so far! there are some studs in that stud and it's great to see y'all numbers are up and the development of your wrestlers.. Especially kendrix who has made major strides since I coached TCarson vs him at freshman sophomore state.. Once again congrats and enjoy it!

  10. Trizton picked up wins 100-102 last evening after tech falling 27-3 solid opponent McCloud from North mont 20-5 to repeat as sagamore conference champion..McClouds only losses were by combined 6 points with one being 4-3 loss vs formerly #1 ranked NC SS ranked PJ sterrett and close loss to todd..Trizton is 23-0 on the season with 114 takedowns in 20 matches wrestled... Im so proud of this young man for his never surrender attitude and for over coming that horrific shoulder injury he had last season!  We know the roads gonna get tougher with tourney time starting and Mr.Brewer on the horizon..

    Regardless of what happens the kid is having a unreal season and career..I made a promise to my baby brother before he passed away that I would help trizton as much as I could and see to it he wrestles in college and i'm proud that will be a reality..I know y'all might get tired of me tooting the kids horn but he deserves it and has always embraced the underdog role and has never griped about the tough draws and matches he's endured especially last year the ticket round when his shoulder came out 3x vs Fuller while leading the whole match while wrestling with  with 1 arm.. good luck to the rest of the wrestlers in their quest for Bankers!
