Love the part with the leg cradle where coach yelled that the ref stopped it because he'd never seen it before
That's Lance Rhodes...He was at new castle before Leaving for cathedral way bk and Peck took over and won her 1000 duals.. I still remember wrestling John Schmaltz from Cathedral and their coaches were yelling our code words Lance took with him

May draw Fuqua or Asbury in ticket round (33 percent). Those will be tough if that happens. If not, he should be at the bank. Always tough for younger bigger weights at Evansville SS. Good luck young fella!
Hell it's tough for any age lol I thought NC was best SS hands down until I started going to EV...Has exact feeling of State to me.. Unreal venue and great times there 4sho!

1988 wrestled 130 as a senior and 141 in college. Now 170. A week in the wrestling room and I’d make 160 easily.
130 + 15 (marriage) + 3 kids*10 = 175 so the math is close.I only got 1 problem and it's that I've gained 50 and i'm not married nor any blood children so still waiting on the proper formula for my scenario.. We know more about the God Particle than we know about this phenomenon.. Then again, I might gain pound for every kid I Train.. I'll get bk to to everybody about my findings

Agree , UIndy has surprised some individuals , as a team they have had a ton of injuries but that allows experience for some of the younger wrestlers..Wabash has been really strong in the national duals as well ..several of their wrestlers ranked in the top two of their weight class ..
Wabash Depth is there as well..184 Carson has placed at all but 1 tournament and has a winning record as a freshman! He'll be a problem once that weight room work and technique take form!

Is there still a JV or Freshman/Sophomore individual state tournament? I thought there was in the past but haven't seen anything on it recently.
There's a freshman /sophomore state that allows them to compete if they don't place at ihsaa state..SSQ and SQ automatically qualify and are highest seeds. there's qualifying tournaments in multiple places for kids that might've been jv or lost at regional or before.. Very well ran tournament and I enjoyed it big time.

Glad there's things like this that help develop wrestlers and to encourage depth In the wrestling room! There's JV guys that are in spots with studs in front of them that would be starters most places as well..Fitts comes to mind from EMD last season.. Ws a SQ before that iirc.. Best of luck to everybody competing and coaching!

Let's not forget about how dominant Zeke Seltzer is at 120. He is the part of the reason 126 is so deep.
120 is loaded too! NC SS 120 is plain disgusting.

I grew up calling him Orangeman, and I remember distinctly when he updated the outfit from 70/80s style to 90s style with still the orange head to toe get up.
Remember when Steven bradley drug that cooler around all time too? his brother Tim and I were good buddies and trained together years later and I asked him why he didn't have one.. he said 3xers get what they want and he didn't

I’m pretty sure I’ve been the same person my whole life. I’m pretty sure that there are people on this site who will tell you I’m only scared of a Democrat in the White House. All my friends are wrestlers, MMA fighters or ex ones. I’m pretty sure my 6 Son’s would avenge my death if I were to lose a duel with FC Fighter.
Lol nobody's wanting to fight you or your sons..I can fight and would if somebody put their hands on me or or family but not over a HS wrestling opinion differences.. I'm 34 and don't just start fights or think i'm baddest dude ever.. but I'm def more than capable of handling myself and amongst other alphas am a rare breed... have 3 brothers that fought (1 passed that was 22-1 pro ammy combined) and between us won over 90 fights in the cage with 3 of us being pro.. Fought in ELITEXC which was the 2nd biggest org to the UFC and on PPV multiple times.. Also Promoted Some of boxing's biggest stars for Showtime and ws managed by the 1 the most influential men in MMA history Monte Cox.. Trained with Miletich fighting systems starting at 19 and with Gracie and American Top Team to name a few.. Didn't want to put my life story on here but I'd figured I'd fill ya in since you told us your Experience in combat sports..We would probably get along had we not got off on wrong foot..I'm not a confrontational type of guy contrary to what your assumptions might be in regards to a "quasi-ufc" fighter... No Ill will here just know that Mendez won't be tested in state next few years.

You are correct. I use UFC as a generic term like Kleenex for tissue or Pampers for diapers. Now I don’t know MMA as a sport but I practiced Wing Chun for 23 years. I’ve been wrestling for 33 years. I started boxing at 4. So I have cursory knowledge of some combat sports. I just prefer the pure arts. MMA as a sport is boring to me. I like Boxing. Chinese Boxing, Judo and Wrestling.
I come in peace and call a truce..I dont want no smoke with a WC master.

That is great! I had nothing to do with it hopefully Y2 knew. On a side note I was really disappointed to find out MD20/20 is actually mogen David and not Mad dog.
I was devastated too when I found.. It'll still live on in our hearts!

Saw some of @FCFIGHTER170 fights on the ol inter web. I can attest that he is a tough dude. Pretty sure the crazy talk would not happen face to face.
But.. I would love to see some @GenHeavyHandz Wang Chung videos!!!! Where can we find them? Surely a Wang Chung master of 23 years has some good content on a Wang Chung website!!!
Everybody have fun tonight
Everybody Wang Chung tonight
I'm rolling over here

You must not be knowledgeable of MMA. UFC is a business. MMA is the sport.
FC fighter made a living through MMA. Which is very difficult to do. Especially because he was a fighter when it wasn’t that cool. Before the sport gained all this popularity.
It also means he was a professional fighter. Equivalent to wrestlers trying to make the Olympic team etc.
What he said.

Nice deflection. As far as tough guys go I have nothing to prove there. If you are judging people by avatars is so new school. It’s not belittling it’s jokes since you want to put words in my mouth. You are the one who jumped on my comments. I don’t know what I said to make you think I think I’m tough but I’ll tell you this: people have said that to me on here before and when we met in person they didn’t have that same energy: ask Littlevito. I have no problem with some FaceTime. Bon Jovi is trash just like McGregor and your attempts to poke a Panther. My knowledge of wrestling has been secured and proven over decades bro. Your fanboy analysis tells me to learn much you have Padawan.
Ok tuffy.

Wrestled between 145-160 from eighth grade to senior year(2014). A year and a half ago I would have been wrestling 220, but now I’m back down to the 170 class, and could make the cut back to 160 pretty easily.
Ready get revenge on Hall aren't ya homie!

I'm a 2004 New Castle Grad that wrestled 160 my Senior year and would be 220 class now weighing 210..I just tech falled a large pizza and majored a cherry Sprite from Pizza King!

HHC 120 #8. White beat #9 Robinson 6-3 then previously unbeaten Freshman Thrine 8-0 in a great match that was better than the score indicates with great scrambles but Whites length, experience and skill was the difference.. He looked really good today and I'm proud of my Boy Brev for wrestling tough and showing he belongs with the big dogs even if this match didn't go his way!
The Mendez effect

Go back and read every thing you said .. you're the one that brought up how when you met Littlevito this and that and ppl gave diff strategy. . not me...YOU brought up me being quasi ufc fighter.. so I told you my mma background I then elaborated on it... Like I said wifi Tuff Guy...I didn't hop on your comments.. YOU started calling with the insults calling nostardomas.. All I said was Mendez wouldn't be challenged and YOU started running your fingers.. You brought up your whack Wing Chun BS.. I'm not all over the place I'm just not a negative person and ws trying to be cordial but once again you wanna act tough..idc how old you are and if you didn't care you'd left it alone..but no once again you gotta start... Should've known not to try be the bigger man and let it be because you'd have to keep up the tough guy act..Keep doing your tai chi or whatever bogus "gentle" arts you practice..I don't what you to hit me with the touch of death... keep playing Victim.. and like you're gonna do something implying you're "not gonna let this slide"..Its hilarious you run your mouth about me and my career then wanna turn it into a pity party about how you were so attacked.. We don't have to be cool and you can keep thinking you're tough with that bogus art you practiced 23 years.. Next time there's a Wing Chun world champion in anything other than fairytales lmk.. Anybody that knows me knows I'm a good person and that read this bs bickering between us can see you started it and we are arguing like OC house wives...
